Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The mattress was very thin, so sleeping was uncomfortable. No Lounge / Room to spend time. Staying for several days you Need to stay out the Hotel around mid of the day. (11-3 or so)

Hong KongThe locker is a bit small and the common area is a bit hot. Some other guests are noisy and making sounds in mid-night/ early morning, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, just the guests.
The location, staff, rooms and shower facilities are good. Clean and tidy, it was a comfortable stay!

AustraliaLockers are very small compared to the 9h nine hours I stayed at in Fukuoka. Most mid to large sized luggages don't fit, so you have to store them in the lobby. Lockers are on 1F, showers on 2F, and sleeping pods on floors 3F and above, so there's a lot of moving around required. You need to return your keycard at 10am each day and pick it up again after 3pm as the accommodation is inaccessible between these hours for cleaning - not a huge issue if you're planning to be out most of the day.
Excellent location - only a 1-2 minute walk to Kanda JR and metro stations. Quiet area but plenty of restaurants nearby. Facilities were very clean. Pyjamas and towels are provided daily, and slippers are provided at the start of your stay. Pods are very spacious, with charging ports and small shelves to store your essentials. I loved the 'warm pillar' in the showers - a different water flow that was very calming after a long day of exploring.

United StatesIn My opinion, it's good for one night to experience how it feels to sleep in a capsule (l stayed one night). A place designed to sleep and go. To get to the showers and locker room via elevator. Pijama+ are provided. My favorite part was the shower room and a lot of space. Make sure to get a long cable to charge your phone or power bank. I could not do it. The outlets were too high. The location is good. Metro station a few minutes, away. Hint: It does not matter how long you stay you cannot stay after 10 a.m. and check out must be at 10 a.m. otherwise you get charged.

New ZealandWesterner Review: for those not familiar with staying in hostels in Japan, here's a few things to be aware of (not "bad"- just different). The beds are more like a camping pad, so are pretty hard (don't expect your normal supportive mattress). This is the same for the pillows. The capsule its self is as explained, so enough room to sleep in which is what you want. The challenge is the rest of the facilities are also very compact- you won't store your luggage/ stuff near your capsule. These are left in a locker room on the bottom floor. The locker room is quite cramped, so logistically it is a bit hard to try to sort your stuff if others are also wanting to do the same in the space. The bathrooms are also on another floor, so it takes a bit of planning to make sure you've got everything from your locker before you head back up for a shower. Again, not negative things, just different to our "norm"- but hey! that's part of travelling!
Easy access from the Kanda station. Clean facilities.

SingaporeIn the morning, the powder table is full with guests getting themselves ready. The hairdryers are placed underneath it, but may not be in use as guests may have their own devices. Have to be thick-skinned and ask them for it since is not being used. There are other sockets around the area to plug in the hairdryer. Would suggest to move the hairdryers to another location, for guests to take an use.
No issue. Meets my expectation as a solo traveller.
