Some of the staff struggled to speak English and did not get a colleague who could. This included asking for a vegetarian breakfast, it took a while for them to understand. The room was dark, but corridor was really dark the whole time. You do need to tell them the day before what time you want breakfast the next day, I wanted to have a lie in but was struggling with jet lag so it was hard to work out a time.

Very clean, staff are friendly, great shower, ideal location for sightseeing. Bar/resturant is nice and quality of food was excellent.

The AC setting temperature is not working properly. Although you set a temperature is running continuously, increasing the temperature above the one selected.

We were a family and had 2 rooms (with older teenagers) and the Node was exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and the rooms were suburb. We stayed for 8 nights over Christmas and new years and the location was quiet (great for sleeping!) but close enough to everything. Family Mart across the street so handy and buses / trains nearby. Lots of lovely restaurants to discover within walking distance. We were so very lucky with a room upgrade which gave us a huge amount of space! We really loved our time at Node and will definitely be back. Thank you Node Team!

Shower is uncomfortable for a tall person (185cm and up), staff english language skills are poor.

Bar/wait staff seemed new in role and lacked hospitality experience. They completely missed a main for one of our family. They took six meal orders and only made 5 meals. Any experienced hospitality worker would have realized that wasn't correct. When order came it was a rear beef patty not well done as requested. This was a disappointing end to a lovely day.

Modern look, very industrial. Extremely clean. Bed comfy. GREAT shower. The location was great. Cool bar. Receptionists were amazing. Always anticipating what you needed. My son was sick, and the receptionist helped by writing a note in Japanese for me to take to pharmacy for medication.

Bed is next door. If someone talk outside, you can hear well. but during our staying, no noisy other guests, so it was quiet. No laundry Maschine in the hotel, there is a laundromat a few minutes' walk away.

For Japan this was a very large room that would be great for solo travelers or couples. Very clean and nice hotel with allot of style. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Because we needed to get to busy areas early we wanted breakfast times to be earlier. We also missed a laundry room (but not essential).

Everything about node hotel in Kyoto was perfect and we loved it. The location is great (central but quiet), the design is stunning, and the comfort exceeded our expectations. I'll definitely choose Node again for future trips to Kyoto. Highly recommend!

I booked for breakfast each morning. The breakfast was lovely but other than a choice of how you wanted your eggs cooked it was the exact same every morning. There was no other choices. By day 4 it too repetitive. They need to introduce some choices.

Staff were lovely. Room was spacious. Location excellent and so easy for public transport links for sightseeing.

I loved the breakfast very much, however, we stayed for 7 nights and the only options given as a changeable item was how eggs were cooked.. It woukd have been nice to have a change every few days rather than 7 mornings of same thing.. That said, it was very nice.

The room was clean, modern and very calming. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and very well presented.
