Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis location was unbeatable. We loved this boutique style hotel, everything about it was charming and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee shop downstairs was vibey and so fun. Their breakfast was good and loved how homey it felt.

United StatesI don’t know if it’s like this in all rooms, but the bathroom door was entirely frosted glass and sat directly in front of the toilet, making privacy less than ideal. The breakfast was wonderful but too big to finish. We felt bad wasting food.
This hotel is a real gem. Our king room (Room 901) was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. It had so many nice touches — great in-room coffee; complimentary beverages in the mini-fridge; comfortable pajamas; an array of toiletries; and delightful made-to-order breakfasts included in the reasonable price. Staff members were all friendly and helpful. One helped us ship our luggage ahead from the front desk. We had a wonderful view, with Senso-ji visible from our narrow balcony. We also loved the location in fascinating Asakusa. We were an easy walk from two train stations, including the one with a direct line to Nikko and an office that sells Nikko tickets and passes. The hotel is near all kinds of sights and businesses, with a convenience store a few steps from the front door. When the weather turned unexpectedly cold, we were able to pick up some Heattech shirts at the neighborhood Uniqlo. We also enjoyed seeing Senso-ji at night, and strolling along the river among the cherry blossoms.

FranceOur stay at Kokono Club was wonderful ! Everything was super easy as the staff was very helpful. The hotel bikes made our stay very fun as we were able to bike through the neighborhood and Ueno park when the cherry blossoms were blooming.

IndiaSome rooms don't have attached washroom, so make sure to confirm with the hotel beforehand. And the size of the room/washroom could have been bigger but regardless it was well done despite the size.
1. Excellent location. It's nearby some popular tourist attractions, food and shopping streets and a 5-10 min walk away from subway lines. 2. Staff is excellent. Really polite and helpful with all queries. 3. There are cycles available to rent for free. That was a pleasant surprise. 4. The vibe of the hotel is really cozy.

TaiwanNone except for the price which is not low.
The balcony was soooo great you can see the TOKYO SKYTREE from it. There's a cafe right downstairs of the hotel, and a famli mart right next to it. Super convenient. Close to Asakusa Temple and the surrounding shopping area. You can buy anything in a 10 min walk.

Good size room for Tokyo. Excellent location for everything, nearest underground line is only 5/6 minute walk away and some great little local restaurants nearby for great value. Staff were also a great help transferring our luggage to our next hotel in Osaka.

BelgiumOnly one person preparing breakfast and despite her best efforts we had to wait so long (30+ minutes) that we had 5 minutes to eat before rushing out to catch our flight. The quality of the facilities was good, but hotel needs a general freshening up. After receiving confirmation of our booking (room with a private bath), we received a separate email from the hotel telling us that the Booking website was not clear and that we might have to share a bathroom with other rooms on the same floor. In the end, we had our own private bath, but this caused us undue stress and we nearly cancelled our reservation.
Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious twin room.

This hotel ticks every box! From check-in to check-out everything was excellent. The reception staff were very helpful and polite. The room was a great size and very comfortable. Complimentary traditional Japanese pyjamas are supplied in the room and available to purchase at reception which was a nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic with a choice of traditional Japanese or Western (I tried both) and it was cooked to order by a very friendly chef. The room was cleaned each day and was always spotless. The hotel is located in a very interesting area and not too far from a subway station.

United Statesit would have been nice to have a luggage rack. also would have preferred the shoe horn and coat rack be near the door instead of across the room.
Design matters to me. it shows not just taste but thought that goes into making a place. i liked my room at the Asakusa Kokono Club not only because it was comfortable and stylish, but also because outlets were where they were useful, windows opened, the layout just worked.

United StatesAsakusa is sometimes loud at night. The hotel is very quiet, but if your room is closer to the ground floor you may want to bring ear plugs.
