Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We couldn’t believe about the comfort/price/location/kindness of staff of this accommodation. Asakusa is a fine neighbourhood with everything at reach: restaurants, bars, shops etc. We have used a twin room and it was comfortable. But we were really impressed with the other amenities: our private shower room, private refrigerator, our own wifi. The staff were incredible: kind and helpful at the reception, remarkable really. A young private chef cooked us a delicious breakfast served by a very sweet waitress. Perfect

United StatesWe liked everything - our stay was perfect, just too short that we didn’t get to try the coffee shop.
Location was great, right in the middle of sites we wanted to see in Asakusa and close to subways & trains to other areas. The room with a balcony was spacious (enough to repack all our bags to go home the next day - other hotel rooms would not have been big enough!). Everything was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, we can’t wait to return for longer!

United KingdomI loved my stay here. The room was small but clean and well equipped. The staff were on hand 24/7 and were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good (I had the Japanese breakfast only, which was the same on both days). Location was convenient for the tourist attractions in Asakusa. And the Airport Limousine Bus stopped a few minutes walk away so easy to get to/from Haneda Airport.

AustraliaIf using a traditional map (eg - not google maps) be aware some of the street names have changed. There are really useful tourists maps around the city which refer to Kokono as "Wired Hotel". This will help you navigate the 10-15min walk from the train station to hotel.
From the moment we walked through the front door we impressed! The customer services was excellent! Our room was massive by Japanese standards with a nice balcony and views over the city and temples. We had breakfast served in our room and it was delicious. A big highlight was the complimentary bikes. We used these on our last day to take in the sites and pre-purchase our train tickets to the airport.

United KingdomOur room was outside the breakfast area, which meant you had a bit of an audience leaving the room to use the bathroom in the morning.
Really friendly staff, and our breakfasts every morning were great! We stayed some nights here in a twin room with shared bathroom, and stayed additional nights elsewhere in Tokyo so we could explore the different areas better. The ice coffee was great, and the staff gave us a bag of snacks as a gift when we left :)

PhilippinesAsakusa Kokono Club Hotel will be your home in Tokyo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would really like to stay here again. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is really great and connected to Asakusa street markets. Very vibrant but at night it's very quiet, peaceful and safe. It's a very short walk to Asakusa Don Quijote, Uniqlo, GU and Family Mart.

AustraliaFor us, the location was probably a little too far away from the sites we needed to visit. So the 45 minute travel time in each direction with a 2.5 year old was more than we would’ve liked.
By far the comfiest beds and pillows I’ve come across in Japan so far. Incredibly helpful staff, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with a fantastic coffee spot just around the corner. Overall, an incredible hotel!

FijiI didn't understand why one should keep the bathroom ventilation on at all times to not trigger the smoke alarm hmmm. But that's all.
I loved the free tokyobikes to cruise around, the location is great, the room was bright and perfect for one person, and the pyjama in the room to use was very comfy (I got one as a souvenir)
