Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable hotel. All amenities available. Easily accessible (metro and train stations a few hundreds meters away). Located in Ginza itself. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. Efficient check-in/out procedure. The massage chair in the room is worth trying :)

United StatesThe room was TINY. Also a decent amount of space was taken up by a massage chair which wasn't needed. Especially with two pieces of luggage, we felt really crammed.
The room is very clean.

AustraliaThe massage chair took up a lot of space, not much space to put luggage and the proximity to loud sirens at night. I also reached out to the hotel twice on the messaging feature of this app and received no response
Value for money and close to convenience stores

Germany- There was a quite big massaging chair in the room which takes a lot of space that, considering size of the room, is not that great
- Great location, there are plenty restaurants and bars nearby as well as subway stations - The room was clean and well equipped - Check-in/check-out process is very smooth

AustraliaStaff were not very helpful. They even refuse to call a taxi for you. When I asked if they could call a taxi for me, the staff member refused and said it was "easy to do". I don't speak Japanese but would definitely call a taxi myself if I had the capacity.
Facilities are new and great value for money.

SpainThe room has a massage chair which seems like a good idea but it takes up a lot of space in a small room. The banquette at the window is cute but to work, you need to sit on the backless end to reach the table.
Excellent location around 10 minutes walk from Shimbashi station and one block over from the main Ginza avenue. The hotel is on the 2nd floor and up. I requested a quiet high floor and the hotel obliged very well with an end of corridor room on 13th floor. No bath in this room but probably the best rainshower I've ever encountered. As always everything was sparkling clean with a kettle to make drinks.

JapanAppearance is very modern, yet a tad nondescript for the category. For those preferring the western / continental style, the buffet breakfast is probably not worth the extra money.

SingaporeReception wasn’t able to call a taxi for our early flight back. Room was a bit too small but normal by Tokyo standards I guess. Also each room was only allowed 2 bottles of water a day, tried to call for more but they said no. I got 5 bottles in the ikebukuro hotel I stayed previously so this was quite unexpected for a ginza hotel.
Clean and conveniently located next to donki and a stone throw away from the main shopping street. massage chair in the room was a nice touch but it made it a tad squeezier than it already was.

PhilippinesOur bus could not drop us off right in front of the hotel. The bus we chartered was too big for the street where the hotel is located. The hotel room is quite small. I also don't like it that you have to get your own toiletries at the hotel lobby. The breakfast buffet could also be improved. I also hope the staff in the reception could speak better English.
The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is right at the shopping area of Ginza.

SingaporeSeems like the sound insulation is not that good. Can hear the fire engine sirens and I was on 6th floor. And in the morning, you can hear the housekeeping doing the rooms next door. Either the wall insulation is not good or the housekeepers are very strong. Can hear all the racket from the housekeeping.
Good location, well designed and very clean and nice. Massage chair was a nice plus but it takes up a lot of space. Had to climb over the chair to pull the curtains down.
