Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeAir was too still in bed compartments when it gets too warm
Cosy rooms, warm atmosphere. Especially loved making friends in the lounge. Only about 3 mins walk from Sensoji.

New ZealandThe pictures match the place. It's perfectly situated near Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa Shrine. The area has so many great food options and a mall within walking distance. I found it very comfortable, and the facilities were clean. Staff were very friendly. I would stay here again when I return to Tokyo!

SingaporeThere is a space under the bed for luggage but there is just a bicycle lock to secure the luggage. As the space is quite large it might be more useful if there was a way of closing & locking that space.
This capsule hotel was great, I only stayed one night but I would definitely come back. It was clean, the capsules were quite large and comfortable the facilities were very nice( showers, bathroom etc…) the common area was a lovely place to chill out.

AustraliaWhile the individual room was clean, and comfortable - it was stuffy. I don’t know if the fan/air conditioning actually did anything.
The place was very convenient, super clean, and the bathrooms were spacious.

United StatesNo temperature control in the pods (from what I could see), just a fan setting. I ended up uncomfortably hot at night.
Super nice for a hostel/capsule hotel. Lounge area, showers were really nice.

United KingdomThe communal area got a little busy during the mornings. Although it is a great experience hotel for a stay longer than 2 nights I would possibly chose a hotel instead.
I had a great stay at Resol Poshtel. The staff were super friendly and I won a compression bag on the Gacha that you can play when you check-in. There were no issues with storing luggage The beds were comfy and there were plenty of amenities provided to you for free along with a coffee machine and water in the communal area. I would definitely stay again next time I am in Japan.

DenmarkThe female only floor could have a microwave and some of the warm drink amenities that exist in the common area.
Staff was very welcoming, and first impressions count. Stayed on the female only floor which was very comfortable and felt very safe. The whole space and all the amenities are well thought through and quality level of everything was high. Best hotel shower I’ve ever experienced. Slept very well and the capsule itself feels very private and although not soundproof, it is as sound isolated as it can be for a capsule. It was a great experience and a great stay.

PhilippinesEverything in this place is just great! The place is soooo clean, organized and well maintained. We have fresh towels, toiletries and sleepers everyday. 👌 The staff are so helpful and very accommodating. They are so nice! I'll stay here again once I'm back in Tokyo. ❤️ The place is also close to good tourist spots like Senso-ji temple and a good view of the sky tower. It was also so close to lawson, 7/11 and Donquijote

United StatesCon: capsule is a bit small but it’s a hostel lol. What do ya expect?
I stayed in the female only dorm. Pros: Plenty of showers and toilets (I think around 7 - never had to wait), toiletries available (toothbrush, toothpaste, qtips, cotton pads, face cream and lotion, body lotion, hair brush, pads), plenty of hairdryers, curlers & hair straightener, quick check-in, cool and modern layout, bed was comfortable, thick blanket, fan & reading light in cube, you can put a checked luggage under the bed with a bike lock, allows you to drop off your luggage, very clean, ear plugs available, double curtain, hangers (3), replaces towels and slippers daily for free, lots of security for female floor, free coffee and water, fast elevator, close to 7-11, don quijote, and many restaurants. Highly recommend!!

ChinaThe frequent in and out of passengers caused the door to open and close loudly, which was annoying to be woken up in the morning.
It was one of the greatest capsule hostel I’ve ever stayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was raining heavily when we arrived, and the clerk helped us dry the luggages. And the capsule itself has everything needed for a pleasant stay with enough privacy. The shared bathroom and washroom are very clean.

United KingdomWell, it is a hostel after all, and sharing with others is part of the experience. One night, there was someone who snored quite loudly, but I knew we could get free earplugs downstairs. In the end, I was so tired from walking all day that I just fell asleep anyway! So, it wasn’t a major issue, but it’s always something to keep in mind when staying at a hostel. :-)
I can confidently say that I’d return to Resol Poshtel. The facilities were always impeccably clean, which was impressive given that the rooms were fully booked. Amenities were replenished every morning without fail, and I was particularly impressed by the powder room on the women’s floor. I really appreciated the women-only lounge area – it might seem small, but having a comfortable space to relax in my pyjamas made all the difference. The cabin itself exceeded my expectations; it was more spacious than anticipated, and with the curtains drawn and the second blind down, it was perfectly quiet. The location is also excellent, close to the station, and while they don’t offer breakfast, there are plenty of convenience stores and independent and chain coffee shops nearby. A special mention to the reception team – they always greeted me warmly, which added to the overall experience. For the price, I genuinely feel that the service and amenities at Resol Poshtel offer fantastic value.

IndiaThe closest metro station is Tawaramachi on the Ginza line, which is a bit of a walk from this place. Not too bad by any means, but even the 500 meters from the station feels like a lot after a day full of walking over 20,000 steps.
Excellent facilities, squeaky clean and very high-tech, friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to help you, amazing co-guests from all over the world. Quiet and comfortable.

PolandApart from the fact that the place is beautifully furnished-blending traditional Japanese style with modern touches, very clean, location is good and the staff helpful, there are many very positive aspects specific to capsule hotels. First of all AC in the sleeping area works extremely well, thanks to that capsules have pleasant temperature. Capsules are spacious and airy (and I am quite reluctant to this aspect, as I’m not able to fall asleep in stuffy spaces). Furnishing of the sleeping area minimizes unnecessary noises-floor is carpeted, capsule curtains move quietly and the door are well cushioned and don’t slam. There is a make up room (well equipped-I saw hair straightener and curler apart from dryers), separate to the bathroom, which is great-thanks to that bathrooms are not overcrowded and not humid-hot. I fully recommend this place to anyone that would like to try capsule hotel experience in Japan.

The property was spectacular! My expectations were exceptionally low but when I checked in I was blown away by the hospitality and the facility it self ! Extremely clean, the lobby and make up room. I had an easy 10hr sleep. Was very comfortable. My favourite dumpling place 2mins from the property topped it all off.
