Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Malaysia1. The check in and check out time is too straight.. even though the rooms are cleaned and vacant.. they rather let the guests to wandering around .. I hope the Japanese hotels can be more Humanise to let guests to check into their rooms from 1pm onwards. 2. The cleaners started cleaning the cubic from 9am and it’s very noisy and disturbing while I’m resting in my cubic! They have forgotten that it’s a partitioned rooms!
The design is nice! The hotel is SUPER CLEAN… SPOTLESS! Location is convenient as plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance.

United KingdomThe fact that I didn't stay another night there. Maybe a bit further from the center if u want to go out at night
Everything. Very comfy bed with privacy. Changing of towels daily. Bathroom facilities great. Common spaces also big and clean. Hostel staff also let us leave luggage there after check out. My locker was not working and when I mentioned it was fixed straight away. Space under the bed for luggage.

United StatesThey could charge a tad less. At the end of the day, it’s still a hostel. A very lovely hostel but a hostel. I paid the same amount for a real hotel room in Tokyo. But like I said, I still loved my stay there.
I loved everything about this place! Location and accommodation. They’ve thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

MalaysiaI'd prefer the cleaning time to start a bit later, but that's because I was sleeping in (check out is 10am but I slept in till 11am+). Would be great if I could request an extra pillow. Tbh I'm nitpicking. It's a great place, I now understand why the reviews were so high.
The bed and pillow were especially comfortable. I was in deep sleep whenever I laid down. The shower was amazing too. There's a place to sit and the water pressure was strong enough with easy adjustment on the temperature. There's enough space to change too. The design and vibe of the capsule pod are cozy and there's enough space to put stuff on the side, as well as to hang your coat.

United StatesThis place was in a great location and near two different train stations. Super easy to access a bunch of areas in the city. Also close to quite a few cool sites in Asakusa like Senso-ji and Kappabashi. We stayed on the mixed floor and everyone in our party had their own key. The women were given keys that also allowed them to use the women’s only floor for restrooms if they wanted. But we’re totally comfortable on the mixed floor. The capsules themselves were very cute and each one also had a small lockbox. The staff was great and super sweet!

AustriaThis is not a hostel, it is in my point of view a capsule hotel. There is no social interaction, activities or similar whatsoever.
Nice large bed, good to see the Asakusa area.

United States1st time trying a capsule hotel, and it was surprisingly pleasant! The "capsules" are spacious enough, and are great at keeping out most light and noise. I was able to sleep uninterrupted, even in a unit close to the doors/showers. The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and patient with me. I want to thank whoever helped me try to make dinner reservations as they tried multiple locations, spent a lot of time and effort with me; and even when plans didn't work out, they went above and beyond to try to make things happen for me. I'd recommend this experience for anyone curious about capsules, needing a prime location to walk Asakusa, while also saving money!

MacauThe BEST hostel/capsule I've been! The staff were super friendly, always greeting me when I left or came back to the hotel with a smile, made me feel very welcomed :) everything was tidy, clean and well managed, and I felt very comfortable staying in my little pod throughout the whole time. They have a separate powder room, bathroom, and toilet area - and with basically everything I need (even hair curlers). The location is also perfect, you can see the Skytree just outside, and there's a Don Quijote just across the street from the hotel. Highly recommend to anyone traveling solo or on a budget!!
