They said we need to go to transport company and send from there but failed to explain how to find this company. We struggled to find it, lost lots of time, missed our train. JapanRoom cleaning takes around 5-6 hours, there is still some dirt and dust left after the cleaning is done on the carpet, in the corners and near the window but I didn’t care much considering the price and the fact that bed and bathroom were always clean and I used mostly them.
Loved the location, neighborhood was very quite but at the same time it took only 5 min walk to a street with lots of entertainment locations, shops, restaurants and most importantly an easy access to Kyoto station, trains going to Nara and Osaka! Family Mart in 1 min walk, coin laundry on the 3rd floor of the hotel, free eye in the hall and a vending machine with drinks available 24/7. Refrigerator and safe box in room.

Hong KongFront office staff not so up to the usual Japanese service level we have experienced in other hotels or ryokans during the trip. During check in, very slow process. Some staff seems not so familiar with check in process. We came in 10 mins earlier than the other guest group, and somehow we got keys just 1 minute before them ... During check out caught one staff checking and playing his phone also. Room very small. Cant open luggage fully if you want to walk pass the bed to washroom. Missing disposable slippers in 1 of the rooms we had.
The breakfast is a surprise to us, as it is not the normal buffet breakfast. It offers rice balls with different toppings. Even got rice cake for dessert too. But their breakfast not much western choices. Seen a lot of western guests just had coffee or eat very little then left.
