IsraelI did not like we had no option to a room with a queen bed and only 2 double beds, so i had to sleep in a separate bed form my partner every night. I did not like that if the room was ready before check in time, they requested an hourly fee to go into your room, even if it was ready to go and did nothing special to prepare it. I understand not committing to having the room ready, even if check in was an hour later than 99% of hotels in the world, but if the room was ready, why charge to let the guest in early? Left a bad taste... especially for a guest coming the second time and for 5 nights.
I loved the location, size of the room, Staff, bathroom.

IsraelI don’t like the early check out, late check in, and even if the room is ready, if you want to go in to put your stuff in the room, they actually charge you per hour! I travel all over the world and 11:00 check out and 15:00 check in is standard. I can certainly understand not promising the room to be ready before check in time, but if it is, to actually charge for the extra hour or two is not acceptable in my opinion, this is the only hotel chain I have ever seen that done, in the entire world I have traveled. One other thing is the floors are Not thick, meaning you can hear people walking above you, but they did have earplugs available 😁.

United Statesthere wasn’t enough space for our suitcases. only one small collapsible suitcase rack, so we had to put our suitcases on the sofa and in the round sofa table. That pretty much ruined the nice neat look of the room and left us nowhere to sit other than our beds. also, there’s nowhere to sit that affords a decent view of the tv.

United KingdomThe only negative is there are no breakfast facilities but the hotel is so central we found so many different bakeries and cafes within a 5 min walk it’s not a big deal at all.
Fantastic 3-night stay in Gion, the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our trip to Japan. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and the hotel has everything you need (laundry and ice machine, and any extra amenities on ground floor). Staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel before check-in and also for a few hours after check out. The location is perfect to explore central Kyoto and only a 10-min walk to the Chion-in Temple and Maruyama Park.
