Our room was very small but otherwise comfortable; shared bathrooms and showers always clean and accesible; yukatas; soup and toasts and coffee for breakfast, friendly staff, good location.

The hotel is very central and good value for money. I stayed in different rooms (single, to which they upgraded me during the first night, then double room with a friend and then dormitory). The single and double rooms were comfortable and you get a rental yukata and small towel included. It can be a bit noisy because the walls are not very soundproof. And the single room I had the first night was next to a parking lot, so I could hear a guy talking on his phone outside my window and also smell some of his cigarette smoke. The dorm room was less comfortable, because the beds were squeaking and a bit shaky. Also my curtain didn’t close completely and the curtains in front of the windows were not blocking all the light. So I recommend using eye mask and earplugs. The showers were clean and also the sink areas were kept tidy and clean. I didn’t get the breakfast for 500¥, but had some iced coffee in the cafe area which was nice. All in all very reasonably priced and better than I expected.

There’s no real bathroom, the sink is in the corridor. For breakfast, the soup always had animal products in it so I couldn’t eat it. There is no shelf in the bed so it is difficult to put your things down when you’re in the top bed. The room itself would benefit from having shelves.

The room was only 4 persons, and the shower and the toilets were right next to the bedroom. The people working were nice. It was clean. Jimbocho is a good area to walk from if you want to visit neighboring places.

The breakfast was very cheap. Only bred and jam. Deceiving . On the pictures, there is some omelet. Will be nice to have some eggs and take off the inlet pucture because it is misleading guests.

Like the place. Very lively. The staff was very helpful. My room and bed were comfortable. Closed to the train station.

The location is quite far to walk to tokyo station so we always take trains and uber ride. Also the water in the faucet are not consistent in being warm during winter.

Cozy, big room for family, clean and complete stuff as what you need in a hotel room. Also there is free breakfast with bread toast, jelly jams and butter plus hot drinks. This is the 2nd time we stayed here.

Roommate behavior on day one is not ideal, should not have been that noisy complaining about others being noisy, waking other roommates. The power socket is in a very odd place under the light.

Not a great sleep as a noisy fan or machine wiring all night, then hairdryers and next door construction work starts early in the morning, my bed squeaks and rattles every time I move even a finger, bed springs can be felt through the mattress.

I like the location and that it’s open 24 hours and complimentary toast and soup is handy.

The annex building has no stairs, which might be an issue if you have mobility limitations and they give you a 4th or 5th floor room. The towels that are included in the price are just to dry your hands, if you want larger ones (ie to take a shower) you will have to pay extra for them (they are affordable though). Included breakfast is quite frugal (coffee, toast and soup).

Location, staff. They were very gentle changing our reservation when we needed it.

No towels or slippers were given. Charging port is not situated rightly on the bed, it will be difficult to put the adapter. Room key has to be rotated daily which they said the purpose was for security reasons. Breakfast includes only bread butter jam & iced tea, anything else have to paid. So it’s better to opt out breakfast

Excellent location. Magazines in reception area. Feedback book & worldmap display to mark from where you have come.

It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room

The location was awesome. The train station was close and small and so easy to navigate and only one stop from most places. Bunks were large and fitted the 186cm family members. The room was spacious enough for 6. Breakfast was appreciated. Note you have to use stairs 4 levels up. We would definitely return here.

Not much, it’s exactly as advertised. Breakfast is exactly toast and jam with a soup of the day. We tried it for the first day but the rest of our time, we searched out local places around the area

The location can’t be beat. The nearest station is Jimbocho which is less than 5 mins walk. Another station is Takebashi who’s is about 8 mins walk in the opposite direction. Plenty of convenience stores along both routes. Plenty of small restaurants- we counted Chinese, Indian, Thai in addition to the local ramen and Japanese curry eateries. Area is quiet as it’s off the main road. But there was construction going on next door during our stay. Not an issue for us because we left the hotel just when the workers start each morning and came back long after they have stopped.
