Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI didn’t like the pillows being too thin. It was quite uncomfortable when it got to sleeping. And the other people in the other rooms were snoring every night, I was not even able to go to sleep when I had to. Regardless of wearing a noice cancellation headphones, I was still able to hear the other roommates snore.
I liked the property was located right near the train station, disregarding the fact it’s 2 trains away from the city centre.

JapanThere's no refrigerator. I'm unsure if the small one in my room is a refrigerator but it's not working when I turned it on. One night, there was one guest who was noisy at the door, he couldn't open it. Also, there's only one bathroom.
The location is good, it's easy to find. The room is nice and spacious. This is a different type of capsule hotel, you have your privacy and personal space. It's not expensive.

ChinaThe staff in charge of checkout and cleaning had a very bad attitude. The room with a checkout time at 11 o'clock, we were rudely driven out at 10:20. She couldn't speak English or other languages. she even kicked the door when my friend was in the toilet to hurry him up, which was extremely impolite in our view. Besides, we didn't meet any other staff members, so we won't comment on them. Although it's close to the station, the station is located in a somewhat remote area. But compared to the attitude of the staff, I think this issue is not too serious..
The accommodation environment is nice. There are small supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. It's really close to the station. The room is spacious. The water pressure of the showerhead in the bathroom is strong. A kitchen is provided but laundry service isn't. However, the laundromat is very close.

United StatesWhile they have a tiny mini fridge (just big enough for a few rice balls) in the rooms there isn't a communal regular sized unit so don't bring large things that need to be refrigerated.
Great location in a silent neighborhood right next to a train station, laundry place and corner store. Bunk was comfy and the AC was in the perfect place for keeping the bunk cool, also like the bunk style so you're not sharing a 'room' with someone. 3 toilets so never have to wait on anyone and the shower is great with how hot you can get it as well as the sheer pressure it can output, also a sealed unit so can get nice n steamy.

United StatesThe access to the upper bunks were rails instead of steps and hurt to climb up and down. The common area is also the bathroom (toilets and the shower were separate) without any place to sit. There is a desk and chair in each cubicle so that kind of made up for it.
It was close to a train station but not the most convenient one, close to grocery stores and some trails.

MalaysiaI booked this for my young adult son and friend .Since it is a dorm and there are no doors , just a fabric cover, you cannot help hearing other guests in their dorm. This is expected and my son was fine with that and tolerated any noise without complaint. What was not appropriate was that other guest complained about him when they were even louder than him. I got the message from management twice and would have appreciated that management advise the other guest to talk to the guest first before complaining. My advise is that who ever wants to stay in a dorm without proper door to reconsider if they cannot even tolerate some one snoring or are easily awaken by the sound of soft voices. Price is very cheap but yes, a peace of mind is more important especially if you intend to stay longer than 1 night.

Singaporestaying along the Tokyu Ikegami line means it’s only affordable to travel to anywhere along the tokyu railway network. changing to the JR network means additional transport fees. it was at Keat 30 mins to an hour transport to get to anywhere. it would help if there were signs prohibiting the use of the hairdryer late night and early morning, while everyone else is already sleeping or sound asleep. also there were people vaping in the bathroom and all of these vapers were Japanese, who may not be able to understand the English signs. while there was only one shower per level, it wasn’t too difficult to get a bath unless someone is vaping inside and resulting in the shower smelling of vape after. there’s no space for luggage deposit and it is not offered after checkout.
it was 3mins walk from a subway and right opposite the post office. area was quiet. despite the limited amenities and because I had my own cutlery, I was able to prepare a simple meal relying on a single hot plate, saucepan and microwave. there’s also a mini versos cooler per bed in the absence of a communal fridge good enough for a small carton of milk. bed had ample space almost like a mini room and comes with a chair and desk, and it own light, so the far out location is a small inconvenience compared to the privacy offered when compared with other dorm properties at the same price point. A chic cleaner come in daily and a handyman stays at one of the bunk.

Japan- The hostel is unmanned. If you need anything you have to call the management but they respond promptly - The only security is password locked front door. But this is Japan so I feel secured enough. - Only one shower room per floor - No towel hanger in shower room
Spacious for a capsule. Very very affordable price. Even though not located in the city center but is very close to train station, so it was quite convenient going places. The room, toilet, and shower room were clean.
