Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRooms are very small. A double is really only fit for one person as you can’t walk around the bed. We upgraded to a twin which was a bit bigger although still small. Not sure breakfast is worth bothering with, there are plenty of options close by.
Location in Ginza very good, not far from the metro and also Tokyo Station.

Hong KongExcept for the breakfast's choice of food and quality of the toothbrush (where the bristle is too hard),, everything else was as expected - great location and good value-for-money.

United StatesRooms are very small, even for Tokyo standards but it's fine if you're traveling alone or smaller people (I can't imagine a larger couple staying in this room). I also had to walk 2 blocks to have an uber pick me up (they won't come on that street) which was difficult if you travel w/ a lot of luggage like I do, but again, these are minor inconveniences for the price & value of this hotel in this location.
The location and price can't be beat, especially w/ proximity to train and including a complimentary breakfast.

United StatesThe single bed room was very small and did not clear window. It was not worth the price of the room.

United StatesThe room wasn't big, but I didn't expect it to be in Tokyo.
The location was very convenient and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. When my t.v. broke, they moved me to another nice room and even offered to help me move. The hotel was very quiet, the bed very comfortable, the bath very nice, and I could set room temperature to my exact preference. I also liked that they only provided cleaning services every other day, but offered fresh towels. That seems kind to the environment and entirely sufficient. Also, the breakfast offered just about anything one could want -- not as large and fancy as some places I have stayed, but definitely sufficient.

SingaporeStaff and management were inflexible. My kids were merely 9 yo and was told that the next visit I will have to book 2 rooms regardless. It is impossible for the 2 kids to stay alone.
The layout and the toilet. There is a funny pole at the corner of the room though.

AustraliaThe room was tiny and after opening our cases it was like maneuvering around an obstacle course to get from the bed to the bathroom. we didn't find the safe or the u.s.b ports until we were packing up our suitcases again.
The location we chose was convenient for the excursions we had booked, and my wife liked the shopping in the area.

South KoreaThere is no elavator and escalator from the nearest gate of Higashi Ginza Station.
The location itself was very good, however it would be much better it there was an elevator or escalator from Higashi Ginza station.

United StatesThe hotel is very nice. Glad we paid a little more for a slightly larger room. Since our flight home was at 5:00, we asked for a late checkout from 11:00 until 1:00. As I recall, it was $56 per hour. This was after spending 3 nights in the hotel. There really is no lobby. Just a small area with a few chairs. And, no bar just for a drink. We went to the restaurant after having dinner elsewhere, and asked to have dessert and a drink. They would not serve us, even though there were many tables available.
The location is excellent. A 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station, and 10 minutes to the Ginza station. New York has 5th Avenue and Broadway. Chicago has Michigan Ave, AKA The Magnificent Mile. In my opinion, neither of them compares to Ginza, just up the street from the hotel. The Kibuki Theater is just a block away. Shibuya Crossing, a must do at night, is just a 20 minute subway ride away. The front desk staff were very helpful.

SingaporeRoom cleaning could be improved, but everything else is excellent.
The hotel is nestled in a prime Ginza location, offering an abundance of shopping opportunities. Despite being in the heart of the action, it’s tucked away in a peaceful spot, providing a fantastic retreat. Additionally, it’s conveniently situated for easy travel to other key attractions. The staff also helped with the luggage transfer to other cities.
