I miss a work dinner because there was no way for a non-japanese speaker to call a taxi, even if the staff was present. A non-english speaking receptionist indicate me to use a phone to arrange a taxi by my self, with a person on the other side of the line no-english speaking as well, who, after many minutes of waiting, told me there was no taxi (just because he could not understand me, of course). There was also a display mode, in japanese, that a woman was using so I can’t, maybe there was some traslation somewhere but the process can’t be so difficult. I live in Japan since 1 year, I can’t immagine the difficult for a tourist or a business traveler just arrived. I don’t think this is enough for a 4 star hotel in an internation city.

I enjoyed the free consumable items as well as the modern design of the hotel. The foot massager in the room, as well as small individual lights I could focus on while getting ready we’re very convenient.

The location was perfect for me, as I attended the Tokyo Pack exhibition in Tokyo Big Site. Moreover, the railway station is easy to access.

Great localization - Odaiba is the best place in Tokyo. 20min of a pleasant walk to DiverCity etc. Hotel is good, clean, worth mentioning that I stayed in "premium" room - view was great.

Using a self check-in/out kiosk when the front desk counter is just behind it. Several staff were also standing around the kiosks so I really don't see the purpose for this. Bare minimum cutleries and kitchen utilities in our room. Would've liked the front desk staff to act more professionally when making calls to us in our room.

A separate elevator hall for those staying in the suite rooms was cute. There was a foot massage in the room. The fridge was not tiny and had an ice cube compartment. We didn't think it would actually work so we put the beer in the same section and forgot about it for 30min. Our beers turned slushy. Rare to find a freezer that actually works in hotel rooms. The view from the room was lovely. Location of the hotel is close to both Kokusai tenjijou train station (Rinkai line) and Ariake train station (Yurikamome line). This is convenient because the train journey can result to using less transfers if you know your way around. The Ariake garden mall was a quick fun place to go to for groceries and last minute souvenirs.

SINCE I BOOKED AN APARTMENT WITH KITCHEN, I WAS SURPRISED THAT AFTER THE TAKEOVER OF THE NEW HOTEL GROUP, HARDLY TO ALMOST NO DISHES, AND COOKING UTENSILS WERE AVAILABLE. BEFORE CORONA EVERYTHING WAS SUFFICIENTLY AVAILABLE. ONLY AFTER REPEATED REQUESTS I GOT A PAN , POT AND DISHES, SO THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE TO COOK.

Balcony was very small, it’s not suitable for sitting outside. The highway is close, so you can’t leave balcony doors open even at night.

Location is very convenient, and the price was very good compared to all neighbourhood hotels. Many items are distributed for free, such as bath salt, face wash, hair treatment etc. There was microwave and humidifier in the room, and bed was comfortable.

We were not very impressed with the breakfast - while the options were many, we didn't find the flavors to be satisfactory. However, this is very subjective on our part.

We needed an affordable room for our last night in Tokyo close to our colleagues at the Hilton. We were really happy with the location of Grand Fresa because of the close proximity to 2 different train lines, having a Lawson's inside the building, across from shops and supportive staff. The hotel/room is well maintained and we liked that you provide amenities for people to pickup without having unnecessary items in the room itself.

Very good room with a balcony and Bay views. Great location for Big Sight and close to Ariake Garden. Easy to get to from Shimbashi via MonoRail.
