This one isn't about the hotel itself but about other guests, there were many teenagers being very noisy and leaving messes in the bathroom. As for the hotel itself, some of the shower heads weren't working properly, but aside from that everything was fine.

The location was excellent, walking distance to many attractions and malls as well as in very close proximity to multiple train stations, also walking distance. This made sightseeing very easy. The hotel itself is very cozy and welcoming. I quite liked the lounge, shower room was very clean and nicely lit. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness in the showers and restrooms was exceptional. We have four bunk beds in a room. All spacious and so comfortable. Great for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The recycled toothbrushes, waste ect..was good to see. The free slippers, pajamas, recycled water provided by the hotel added to an amazing experience. Cannot rate this place highly enough. Will love to come back again for sure!

It was quite annoying that you need to use your key card for everything: bathrooms, elevator, shower rooms.

The hotel is close to the subway and bus making it easy to get to and from different locations. About 15 minute walk to both Kyoto station and Nishiki market. The shared faculties are well kept and clean. The fact that type can store your suitcase under the beds and easily take it in and out makes the room much airier than some of the other hotels I’ve stayed at. The downside is that the beds were very hard and pillows soft. I did get an extra pillow when I asked for it thought!

Great place to stay in Kioto, super close to subway station and 20 minutes from the main shopping street and Gion. We stayed in a female floor, which was really comfy and got lots of extra supplies, if you needed some. Strongly recommend!

I was using a room with single bed as a solo traveler. The shared bathrooms were always clean, and the overall stay I had was pleasant. I would recommend it.

The laundry facilities are easy to access and operate, however they didn’t clean or dry the clothes properly.

Great hostel style hotel! Really enjoyed our stay here. Room, bathroom and showers were super clean. Great location, had access to the subway right outside the door and a quick bus ride to the main streets.

Nice location right outside of a subway station. Could get anywhere in Kyoto quick. Staff was nice and helpful for checking in and out as well as with the rules. Everything was clean. Rooms were private

The communal areas for warming up the food and eating were too small. The dimmable reading lights in the bedroom will be ideal.

Stayed 1 night. It had almost everything you need for a shared toilet and showeroom accommodation. Stayed twin room for single use. The room was spacious and a mirror inside the room, a mesh bag for going to the showroom and a lanyard for the card key were convenient.

It was a really easy stay - the bathrooms were a huge highlight (cleaned twice a day, great showers), the room itself was just okay - our issue was mostly that we wished we could open a window. Four people in one room needed ventilation, luckily there was an air conditioner but it was still hard to get it to be less stuffy. Overall a good option for a cheaper stay, the location was decent but not the best possible.

This hotel has all you need for a comfortable sleep. The rooms are spacious and all the bathroom supplies and PJ’s are convenient. The bathrooms are conveniently located at every floor and they are big and spacious, sharing them is not an issue. The breakfast they offer is filling and all the staff were super nice.

It is cheaper than some other hostels, but I can hardly say it's a "good price"... Luggage storage is totally do it yourself. So be sure you don't have important stuff left. Elevator is narrow. It is not convenient that shower is only on one floor. I understand that it is for security concern, but it is inconvenient to carry the room card even to restroom.

Super close to metro station (Gojo). Enough shower booths (my experience is there was no need to wait during 22-24, 7-8) The room seemed narrow but the bed was SURPRISINGLY comfortable compared to how it looked. Air conditioner worked well.

Almost everything, the room, the mattress, the price and the toilet! This hotel is just like 2 minute walk away from the subway. It’s super convenient and comfortable, we booked the 4 pax room, it was bit smaller than expected but it was good enough for us. If you’re booking this room, please make sure you travel light. Don’t bring 4 28 inch luggage.. 😆
