The step up to the bed could be quite big, best to slide on and off rather than stepping up and down

Privacy was great, beds were comfortable and showers were easy to use. Great that the tablet in the room shows occupancy rates in the showers, saves me waiting around for a cubicle.

Having to bring a tag/keycard to access the toilet was a bit much and tedious.

Room and shared bathroom was very spacious. Towels are changed and refreshed everyday. Very close to 7-eleven (across street) and other food options. One stop from either Shijo or Kyoto station.

The room and all shared places were clean and everything you need for a stay is provided. The luggage storage was simple in use. The staff was very helpfull during checkin and checkout. The room was exactly as I expected it. I enjoyed the concept very much. I was glad we had a little table and space to store our luggage. Also nice that the 2 people room has 2 units to charge your devices and with a night lamp. The location was great. Several stations where within a 15 minute walk, with one in front of the hotel. A lot of good restaurants in the area.

Bed thickness is typical for Japanese standards but a bit thin for North Americans. It works, just would have preferred something a bit thicker.

Everything was amazing. I wish the bed was a bit thicker but beyond that you couldn't ask for a better value and location.

The hotel is so simple and clean. Easy to find and beside Gojo station. The room is very clean and the beddings are so comfortable that we overslept almost every day of our stay. 😂 The staffs are so nice and easy to talk to. The common shower area is also very clean, though, we need to wait for longer times to tale our turn.

If they could provide hair conditioner instead of just shampoo and soap, that'd be great.

It is in the format of a hostel, but think of the nicest hostel you've ever been to! Everything felt new and clean and the location was stell as it was right next to Gojo Station. But what really stood out was the staff. I was moving to Japan and only temporarily staying in the hotel. However, I had 3 massive suitcases weighing a tonne! The staff helped me dearly and I much appreciate it.

Very convenient location, near to subway and bus stations. Walkable to Kyoto Station which is the main transportation hub to get to other parts of Japan. Breakfast provided at the restaurant next to the hotel with a breakfast voucher given at check in. Bathrooms and toilets are very clean. Overall very happy with my stay!

The shower is on a different floor to our room. The ipad charger in the room didn't work for us. Not a big deal though :)

It's in a great location, 15 minute walk to Kyoto station. Lots of restaurants, public transport nearby. Friendly staff and clean rooms/bathrooms.

I loved how everything was always kept clean. They also provide free rental pajamas and towels, as well as the basic toiletries. The room was really cozy. I didn’t have that huge of a luggage with me so the space was just right for me. I also am happy that it’s right beside Gojo Station entrance, a McDonalds, and quite a few good restaurants as well! Kyoto Station was also just 15 minutes away. I’d say, for the price, they’re among the best value for money hotel in Kyoto!

too great for everything it’s just in front of the exit of the subway station some attractions can be reached in walking distance the facilities were so clean bathroom is my favourite, everything is prepared even pyjamas, cleanser, hair dryer, shampoo, slipper etc too value worth for the price enjoyed so much my days in Kyoto

The control panel ( tablet) was malfunction. When we informed the staff, the tablet was just taken away but not replaced.
