Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Subway running underground could be heard in the early morning on lower levels, more like weak rumbling sound.
Very well designed, relatively big room size in Tokyo. The hotel is close to several subway stations.

The lobby area has very limited seating. One couch, almost discouraging guests to hang there. The bar area was the majority of the space and unless you ordered you can’t sit in any of the chairs. The room is very small. The bed is pushed all the way to the wall so you can’t get around the bed. We planned to order a massage service but the small space wouldn’t allow for it despite the hotel providing the massage information.

The breakfast they offer is okay but is exactly the same everyday and it doesn't have variety. In the toilet there were stains on the walls.
We really like the location because Ginza is not as busy as other neighborhoods in Tokyo, but still very central. They brought us clean towels everyday and we had a nice view!

The tv remote did not work and the iPad control required constant rebooting.
The entire staff was extremely friendly and very helpful! The overall look and feel of the hotel was very good, very hip and modern.

we were staying for 3 days, our bed was kind of tilted and we’re not sleeping well, cannot change room and at the end we just got some towel and put it underneath the bed, the hotel had to check with the mattress. also the room is quite small but it’s understandable

I booked on Booking.com and they were unable to find my booking and also had an issue wanting to print out an invoice which seems rather strange. I think more training of the front desk team is needed. Overall it was ok but they could do much better.
Location is perfect for meetings in Ginza. Hotel is simple but good and it covers the basic needs in Tokyo. A little pricey but that's life in Tokyo at the moment.

Check in was hard because the machines did not really work well. Staff was somewhat unaware of the fact that I had extended my stay and had trouble cutting me a key when I asked them. got sorted later but it was all a bit odd.
Great location and nice bar and restaurant in the lobby area. Breakfast is nice as well. Rooms are compatible but actually really well designed.

Tiny room.
Excellent location, great public bath which was used often after hard days walking and shopping in Tokyo, very very tiny room but great shower. Staff was excellent, breakfast tasty, and location very central, with several train stations close by.

The room window is facing a wall from another building -approx. 1 meter from the window - so not much light and not a great feel when added to the small size of the room. Mattress too firm for our taste.
Great location, easy access to a good range of locations with the Ginza line/close to Tokyo station. Quick check in and check out and nice people working there, always available to help and give advice. The onsen is very nice, clean, and open until late (2AM). Good experience overall

Window is only half a meter away from next building. Can’t see anything
Perfect location and easily accessible. Staff was very friendly and although the room was small, the layout made it easy to find enough space for our backpacks etc.

The room was quite small.
Hotel is located in the great place in Ginza. Very close to Tokyo Station and other subway stops. There is a small gym and laundry room with three wash/dry devices.
