Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It is a little further from the Metro but they have a great bus service from the door and this means it is a lovely quiet place.
Lovely little property with a room on each floor and a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the Skytree and the river. The staff were amazing and the hotel was very quiet, clean and incredibly comfortable.

Nothing. Perhaps on days the kids are tired I would prefer if we are even closer to the station. But it is only a small complaint, we can always take the uber to station under 800 yen.
Beautiful place, love the traditional feel and the modern facilities. It is impeccably clean and the staff are always doing extra to help out. Level 10 is a gorgeous communal space, and rooftop has un-obstructed view to Skytree. A step away 7-11 where we grabbed quick meals, and very close to Sumida park where the Sakura blossoms and a small kids playground (a must when traveling with children). 10min walking distance from the heart of Asakusa, train station and temple. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

Absolutely nothing!
Easy to find, close to a train station, exceptional staff and the room was the largest I had stayed in during my trip to Japan. The staff went above and beyond to help me locate a bag of valuable items that I left on a train. They made several phone calls for me and spent an hour sitting down with me trying to track it down and when we finally did, they gave me very clear instructions and directions on what I needed to do and where I needed to go to collect it. I owe it all to them.

I cannot be more complimentary or glowing in my praise for this place! Myself, wife and 4 kids stayed twice on our recent trip and I was blown away. We got the family room and it was great - two large double beds and two single beds. The location of the hotel I actually really liked, a short walk to the busy area of Asakusa and also the Skytree. The facilities were good, we didn't use the rooftop terrace much but it is very cool, we did use the laundry facilities which were handy to have in the building. What sets this place apart for me however were the staff, they are exceptional! Honestly I travel very regularly for work and I am not sure I have experienced such customer service and hospitality in my 25 years of doing that! This was also across the board, not just from one of the team but everyone had the same approach and it really did make me fall in love with this place! Thank you to the team for making us feel so welcome and at home! Really really appreciated! We will be back!

Our room was very small and we could barely fit our luggage in the room and still walk in/ through the room. We understood the room would be small but it was much smaller than we thought.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities were exceptionally clean and well located.

Nothing it was one of the best properties we stayed in during our trip.
Staff are amazing, very friendly and fantastic service. Property was lovely and cosy. Very clean and close to food and attractions. My daughter had her birthday while there and the staff made her some origami which she loved! Rooftop is beautiful with amazing view of SkyTree. I highly recommended this property and will stay again ! Other plus is if going to Disney you can walk to SkyTree in about 12 mins and get a bus direct.
