Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeRoom size is typically small that you get in Tokyo for a valuable/budget hotel.
Great location. It is location about 5-7 mins walk away from JR Kanda Station that is around the central areas. Has many restaurants, bars and a convenience store like 7-11 nearby. Even though they do not have breakfast options, they provide coffee/tea machine at the lobby.

United KingdomThe room was a bit small for 2 people but that is expected because it is Tokyo. Other than that, we found it was really good value for money and we enjoyed our stay.
Friendly and professional staff. They provided luggage storage as we arrived early and they even sent the luggage to our room when we checked in later in the day. The hotel has what we needed and there were even free hot drinks, and a large collection of manga in the lobby. It was clean and located 5 mins away from the Kanda subway.

Great little hotel in Kanda waking distance to the station, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel offers free tea and coffee and an amazing selection of comfort items, face cloths, toothbrush, shower caps, hairbrushes, night attire and more. The staff were lovely and helped us send our luggage onto our next destination. Everything was so clean and orderly and the staff very helpful and friendly.

staff were very helpful and kind, so close to Kanda station so very easy to get to Shinjuku and Harajuku. if you have the JR Pass you can use it on these lines which was a bonus. Tokyo train station was about a 20 minute walk so no need to navigate the trains if you don’t want to. bed very comfortable, free hot drinks and bath salts.

CroatiaHotel is very clean. My husband and I stayed in a room for smokers because I use an e-cigarette, and we didn't smell any kind of smoke residue from previous guests. The location is superb, it is 2 minutes walk from JR Kanda station, 1 station from the main Tokyo station and Akihabara, but the neighborhood is very quiet. The room was reasonably small, but managable. We would definitely come back again

JapanThe room is a bit small, so if you have a large suitcase, it might be difficult to open it up.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Kanda station and it is very close to Akihabara. There are many restaurants and shops around. The bathroom has a deep tub and I was given a skin care kit. There are various ammenities available and there are Japanese manga volumes for you to borrow. There are free hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) in the lobby that you can take to your room.

AustraliaRooms are small in size but standard for Tokyo. The bathroom is small but functional. Rooms did get a bit warm as were not able to put cooling on; only fan heating options. It wasn't a big problem though; I suggest asking the staff if it's a problem. We didn't bother too much.
Very close to the Yamonote line; JR Kanda station, (not even a 5 min walk) which is only a stop away from Tokyo station which made catching the Shinkansen easy or catching a train into other parts of Tokyo very easy. Staff are friendly and professional, there is coin laundry wash and dry services, 24 hour service at desk and a hot/cold drink dispenser at the front for all customers. The neighbourhood is good, not too busy and few convenient stores close by.

AustraliaRooms are small but that is expected for a small hotel located in the middle of Tokyo.
Room is clean and staff is very helpful and friendly. Our flight was delayed so we had to stay in Tokyo for 1 night as we missed the last train going to Kyoto. The rates are reasonable for an emergency and the check-in process was flawless.
