Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesSuper quiet considering it's under a railway. Convenient location and very affordable. The rooms were really nice and everything was spotless. Breakfast is cheap and actually really quite good! Ask to store your luggage after checkout if you want to spend more time in the area before heading off to your next destination.

AustraliaThe mattress could have been a little softer, but still a very comfortable sleep
The location could not have been better! The Cafe attached to the hotel does some good food, and they have lots of great amenities to deal with the noise of the trains if they bother you!

NetherlandsOf course, This hotel is located directly under the railway. So this room is noisy. The sound was more bigger than i expect but it wasn't matter for me because I am not sensitive person.
This hotel is located just 7minutes distance from Akihabara station, and only 5minutes walk distance to the main street of Akihabara. Also staff could speak english and all the facilities are well designed. Room was extreemly clean.

United StatesToilet could have been a tad bit bigger, I kept banging my head and elbow around the wall and door.
The location is very good, since it's literally under the Akihabara station track. It's about 3-5 mins walk to the station. It's also just as close to the center of Akihabara where all the shops are there. Also, the reception can speak decent English, which I truly appreciate. Room is cozy and has the sound of train moving above your head as nice ambience (subjective to personal preference, after all, this is the experience you signed up for if you book here, haha!) As a bonus, the staff is also kind enough to allow us to store our luggages there for a few hours after we check out. They seemed to have a storage room. Overall, great stay. Will come again if given the chance.

SingaporeJust something small but the lack of vending machine and coin laundry within hotel makes it a viable improvement to look into
Very cosy and comfortable room. WIFI speed is probably one of the best I ever come across that can support multiple devices at any one time.

United StatesExcessively loud, not only due to train but traffic and yelling people every single morning for 4 nights straight. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors and people in hallway exceptionally loudly. NOT the place for light sleepers.
Clean, nice staff, excellent location near Akihabara station to access Shinjuku, Shibuya, and all major train stations nearby.

Hong Kongnot ideal for getting a good rest train sounds in my room were exceptional loud. sometimes the room shakes when trains pass by. it gets better at night after 1am when trains stop operating, but they start running again at 4:30am not a big concern for me as I have my schedule packed and I didn’t plan on sleeping that much, but for those who saw reviews saying the train sounds are not that noticeable, you’ve been warned.
very convenient location, minutes away from Ginza line and Yamanote line, Donki is just across the street, couple of 24-hour diners close by very helpful and friendly staff, they even helped me collect my Amazon delivery room was very clean, especially the bathroom

AustraliaThe sound! We read reviews and didn’t see too many deterring reviews talking about this noise, but it shakes the room! I am a heavy sleeper but still only had solid sleep from midnight till 5am (when trains run less/don’t run), even with earplugs the bed can actually slightly shake from the trains which really tests the sleep! Another odd thing is that the ‘window’ goes to the aisle to the rooms which is always dark and the glass is fully frosted over, this means no natural light in the room.
The location is very good and bed is relatively comfortable, the location being so close to the main areas of Akihabara was so handy, but be warned that most things closed in this area at 10 instead of the 5am bars in shibuya
