It was so filthy. The duvet and the bed were smelling, I am not even sure if those were even washed. The dorm was dirty and smelly...a very unpleasant experience.

Nothing. It was a disgusting dirty place. Just the toilets were clean.

This place is truly disgusting- I have no idea how they have 4 stars on Google reviews. Stay here if you don't mind dreading heading back to your accommodation at the end of the day. I literally had to take gloves and cleaning spray and clean the area around my bed it was so gross. I'll let the photos I took speak for themselves.

Basically nothing except there were big windows in the room which was nice to let air in.

I wish that there were slippers provided in the room. The floor is super cold concrete and it felt annoying to put shoes on to go to the shared bathroom. I believe you could buy slippers but I think they should be provided with the room.

It was nice and close to Shibuya. The beds were super comfy and large! I really liked the extra amenities in the kitchen area.

The common spaces and bathroom needed a real cleanup but some new staff is working hard to correct this sad situation and hopefully they will be to a minimum acceptable soon

Some of the staff is friendly, luckily within the team some are more professional than other.

Nitin at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, the location is right to get a well good rest while being close to the Shibuya crowds

The rooms were extremely small, with no practical areas whatsoever. It does not accommodate large bags, and people cannot enter the rooms without moving luggage around. Not only were the rooms small, but they were filthy as well. It was extremely gross to have hairs all over your sheets, dust and other bits and pieces all over the floor and under the bed. Would never stay here again. Everyone staying there seemed to hate their accommodation as well.

The facilities were extremely dirty. The rooms seemed like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months. There was dust, hairs and rubbish between the mattress & railing of the top bunk. The sheets had hairs all over them. The bathrooms didnt seem to get cleaned the entire 6 days we were there. The same stains were present the entire time. The showers had rubbish in them for the entire 6 days too. There was no communal area either.

The location was alright.

Probably the dirtiest hostel we experienced in Japan and the location wasn't that fantastic as there weren't that many train stations around. Also had a completely open bunk design which you could most people and the rooms were overly hot from the top bunk.

the sleeping space was so cramped with no baggage storage. and it stank so bad. I understand that is an issue, especially on weekends, but there is little in the way of airflow so the place stinks

The picture we booked looked like a 4 person room. Instead we booked a dorm, had to read the fine print. It was terrible other guests were extremely inconsiderate. Alarms blaring all times of the morning, and people would just let them run. There are rules and no one seems to follow any, front desk also didn't care. I had to go to other peoples bunks and tell them to turn off their alarms. We paid the same if not more for this dorm than any other 6 or 8 person hostel room. One of the men's toilets was clogged for two days. Nobody unclogged it. Also slamming doors, dragging suit cases, late at night. really no consideration for others.

the bed was comfortable, no idea if it was actually clean. The sheets were there from a prior guest.

2 bed bunk hostel room, only a little space to move around and was told to wait till 1pm so that we can leave luggage at the counter and move around. Then hostel is about 10mins~ 15mins walk depend on your walking speed.

Too many beds in one dorm. My bed was located at the entrance of a dorm with over 20(?) beds. Didn't count but was very many. Woke up many times due to people coming back late. One drunk person even opened the curtains to my bed and was about to jump in. Woke up with a heart attack from that and had hard time falling back asleep... Not social hostel as I expected.

Walking distance to Shibuya, but still a good walk, like 20min. Clean.

Not cleaned well. Used the shower several times with bandaids stuck to the walls. Not much space for many bags.

Location: it's not convenient to commute. You have to take a bus every time you want to go to Shibuya unless you are ready for a 15min+ walk. And it's hard to find the bus at Shibuya station. Price: Going back and forth with bus makes your stay more expensive and less convenient. Expect to pay 210 yen every time you take the bus, even if it is only 5min bus and only 3 stops. Also coffee, 580yen for a small drip coffee (clientele price), I got breakfast in other hostels at this price. Comfort: Shower were not really clean (drain full of hairs and gunk). As per the capsule bed, it was really tight for me as I am tall and using the top bed (last beds in the room, I don't think others are that tight). However, I slept fine despite the 28 beds in the room. Small details here and there could have been better. Hostel is ok and you get a decent sleep. I just feel that the comfort/convenience/price ratio was not great for the night I stayed.

Fine if you want to visit and stay in Shibuya during your trip in Tokyo, Quiet rooms at night.
