Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe double room was the smallest room that we had stayed in Japan with little space to move around.
The location was good as it was 3 minutes away from the Daimon station. There were lots of restaurants around the hotel too

AustraliaDust had gathered in a number of places in the room and the toilet seat did not fit properly. There was no housekeeping until after our third day of stay and the trash bins were not emptied daily. The front desk did not seem to be manned by staff at all times and some of the staff were not very helpful.
The hotel was in a very convenient location-about 3 minutes’ walk from the Daimon subway station and 7 minutes’ walk from Hamamatsucho JR and Monorail Station (handy to get to Haneda Airport). There were a number of restaurants around but not shops. Room was functional and the bed was ok. We had breakfast there each morning and the kitchen staff were nice but the quality of the food was average.

FranceDo not expect having access to the laundry, but if you do, be careful because the staff can make a mistake, take out your clothes from the dry machine while drying, and give you your wet clothes to make them dry in your room

PolandRoom full of dust, smal room - not enough space to walk by another person, lack of wardrobe - no space to take the clothes out of the suitcase, monotonous breakfast.
Warm toilet with bidet wash, divided light in the room, comfortable bed, good hair dryer, available suitcase storage, free rental of umbrellas. Very supportive staff.

AustraliaSome staff were lovely, but some were actually quite rude. There was one older lady in particular who seemed very unhappy. We also stayed back there at another point during the holiday and the sage staff member couldn’t manage a smile.

SingaporeUnclean. Found many strains of hairs in the bathroom and on the bed. The floor was not vacuum because found the previous guest left a sim card adapter on the carpet. Many wired plug adaptors under the bed. Looks like many foreign housekeepers working there.

SingaporeService is almost non-existent. Staff did nothing except to hand me a piece of paper with QR code to self check-in. Was told no cash payment accepted and when i encountered trouble paying with declined cards they just stood there doing their best to ignore me and offered zero assistance (did not even check with me if everything is ok). Room cleaning is only done upon request and checkout is also self-service as well. Room size advertised is 23m² but its really no different from a 15m² room because all the extra space is wasted on the corridor near the door. The bed area is still compact with no space to open your luggage etc. Toliet bowl is extremely small too. Considering they ask for 16776~18648yen per night it's quite pathetic really. I will never book another Sotetsu hotel ever again.
Location was good, near daimon and hamamatsucho station giving it good connectivity to other parts of tokyo. Also near tokyo monorail station giving quick access to haneda airport.

TurkeyI might be biased as I stayed at hotels that exceeded my expectations before this, but the cleanliness and the comfort were just average. But the location makes up for this.
The location was great, close to Tokyo Tower and Hamamatsucho station. You can go directly to Haneda from Hamamatsucho which was the reason we chose this hotel as our last one. Since it is in a business area, the hotel has that kind of vibe. You self-check in and out. But if you have problems, staff is there to help. There are things from toiletries to tea bags in the reception, you can take whichever you need.
