We've stayed in the hotel for a few nights and I highly recommend it. The staff is super kind and helpful. The acomodation is very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and well decorated. It has a perfect atmosphere. Apart from that, the location is super convinient. Everything was perfect, we loved our stay. Best beds in Japan so far! Really firm.

Very comfortable room and beat shower design I’ve had in a hotel for several years. Location is central but quiet enough to sleep with the window open. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when revisiting Kyoto.

There were none we did not like.

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. They served us welcome tea upon arrival . The bed was very comfortable and bathroom facilities were excellent with amenities provided. The staff spoke English fluently and were very polite and helpful. Daily bottles of drinking water were provided. Variety of restaurants were in vicinity and a conveniencen store and a vegetable-only grocery were nearby. Subway and bus stations were in walking distance although not really close by. We sent our luggage to the hotel one day in advance via Yamato Takkyubin services and they accommodated the request and luggage was waiting for us in our room when we checked in. Check out was very easy and prompt. It was a modern boutique hotel without hustle and bustle of big hotels. We were thoroughly comfortable and would highly recommend this hotel to those planning to visit Kyoto.

I wish I had stayed here longer. We originally only booked here for Valentine's Day as we had plans to stay in a group machiya with friends, but this hotel was so lovely I wish I had spent every night here. The staff is exceptional, I cannot stress it enough. They were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They let us check in early when my husband was feeling under the weather and called us a taxi when it was time to go. The room is spacious, stylish, and clean. Amenities and snacks are excellent. The location is not far from a Karasuma line station walking, but if you have a lot of bags or are tired it may be worth it to take a taxi just to save your energy as you need to walk down a busy main road. The road the hotel is on is very interesting and quiet, I regret not exploring that area more. I definitely recommend staying here! I will certainly return to this hotel on my next trip to Japan! 本当にありがとうございました！

Amazing new clean hotel with cozy vibes. Enjoyed atmosphere, spacious room, beautiful shower. Bed was really comfy and it served as a great stay to relax after exploring Kyoto and suburbs.

The hotel is very well located, the staff are very helpful, the room was ready and we checked in at 10 o'clock, very rarely something like that at the hotel, I appreciated it a lot. Physical key (not a key card). You leave the key at the front desk each time you leave which turned out to be a good method since I was worried I would lose a physical key. No laundry on site. No food options on site. Our room was always humid and although there was a dehumidifier in the room it just always seemed to feel slightly damp.

We were upgraded from a Standard Double to a Deluxe Double upon arrival (did not ask for the upgrade). Front desk staffed basically 24/7 Room was HUGE compared to everything else we had in Japan during our 2 week stay. Bed was SO comfortable compared to everything else we had in Japan during our 2 week stay. Great options for food, shopping and transportation close to this hotel. Only 12 rooms in the entire hotel. Extremely clean, new, modern.

The room keys are actual keys, not keycards, and we had to give the staff our key before we left each day and get it back upon return. We didn't stay out past operating hours, so it didn't really affect us.

The location was convenient and we could walk to so many places. The staff was very kind and gracious. The bathing room was also very nice. The size of the room was spacious and the staff upgraded our room on their own. They provided a small flower arrangement and a happy anniversary card, which was lovely and made us feel special. The toiletries and amenities were good quality. The lobby had cookies and an espresso machine with to go cups and they had umbrellas for use by the front door. We liked the decor of the hotel and the room.

best hotel we stayed at in Japan!! Hotel staff were extremely welcoming, professional and warm. They were very kind, helpful and communicative with luggage transfer, finding food, assisting with lending phone chargers and helping when i locked our key in the room. The nicest hotel staff we encountered in Japan. We were fortunate enough to get a room upgrade for free upon arrival. The room was extremely spacious, spotless and had wonderful facilities. The hand cream and cookies supplied were amazing. The location was lovely (an easy walk from train station and surrounding food) and we could not hear any sound from the street. I would highly recommend and will stay at next time i’m visiting Kyoto! thank you for such a wonderful experience, we felt very at home in your hotel and were sad to have to leave
