Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room did not have extra shower towels as we stayed for 5 nights. It would have been nice to get fresh towels.
The location was convenient to where we needed to visit and the room had the basic necessities.

United StatesWhen they mention it can be noisy, it is! Tourists are arriving and departing at odd hours. I would love to see some more “quiet please” signs out on the hall. Also, the light in the hallway is extremely bright and shines through the door at night.
Zaito was the perfect distance to many necessities. Beds were comfy but amenities such as shampoo and toothbrushes were provided.

United StatesThe hallway light is always on, which is understandable, but the door doesn’t fully block light, so it never gets pitch black in the room. And if you’re sleeping and someone checks in late, you can hear everything (their bags, talking, the door opening)
Great value for having a room to yourself. There was a tea kettle and a hot plate you can use, shared utensils if you need them. I only made tea, however, and just ate out. I also liked Sumida where it was located. It’s a bit far out, but only a 30 minute walk to Asukusa. I actually really liked taking the bus since the 08 and the 37 are essentially right across the street. The other train station on the Hanzomon line isn’t far at all. But it was really nice to be somewhere quiet. Sumida has no tourists basically. I would stay there again for sure

SlovakiaBugs (cocroaches? Not sure) in the room. Owners provided bug spray in the room and explained it's normal for climate here but we didn't came across them in other places we stayed in before. Had to deal with them daily. Water heater always turned off by itself so you have to wait for water to warm up again when you wanna use it. Room is very small, you won't be able to have open suitcase there. But it's quite normal for Tokyo mainly.
Best customer service we came across in JP, owner is very communicative and happy and quick to help. They have whole guidebook prepared for firstcomers, which is nice touch! Location is very nice and easy to find, lot of convenience stores nearby and 3 train stations closeby (10-20 mins) too . There are microwaves avaible on the floor, as well as kettle and sink in the room. Very pleasant cosmetics in bathroom. There were some minuses but I'd probably stay again if I have a chance in future. :)

BrazilThere`s no elevator, but I was previously informed of that (until the third floor I found bearable). There`s no TV set, so the way to watch a program is using wi-fi. They don`t help you calling a taxi (I had to use Uber). They have a guide book but I didn`t find information on it about where to exchange currency. They have a washing machine that is not a drier, so I had to hang clothes around the room so that they got dry (it didn`t work - I had to package those clothes when they were still wet). I could distinctly hear anyone passing through the corridor (maybe they should put a carpet or something else on the floor to deafen the sound of steps or of luggage being carried).
It is a in a fine location next to the Tokyo Sky Tree, you can see the tower through the window. The room is unexpectedly ample (and I should know that because I stayed before in a room at the Apa Hotel). The refrigerator in the room is bigger than the other ones I used in other hotels in Japan. It`s also near to many convenience stores and also to a subway station. A guy kept contact online with me to see if everything was alright and he was fast to answer questions.

MalaysiaNothing really! The person-in-charge was very friendly while the guide book gives extensive information that could benefit your trip. Overall, it’s a good stay!
The room and environment was very cozy! It was also around 10 - 20 minutes away from metro stations, making it very accessible for travelling while there’s also a good amount of restaurants and convenience stores 5 minutes away from the stay.

EstoniaIt was a bit dirty, had a black long hair in my bed when entered, me and my friend have blonde/light brown hair. Also if you visit when it's still cold out, you need to use the AC, but the ac smells awful and is dusty, so I wasn't able to use it properly since I'm allergic to dust, meaning we both were freezing. Also if you are staying longer than 2 days, get prepared to wash your own towels, since they don't provide more clean towels.
Good location and got fast replies through booking.com from the host. Also was nice to see sky tree a little bit from the window. Also a nice big fridge!

SingaporeThe twin beds room we were assigned was way too small, squeezy i injured myself twice banging into furniture no space to open luggage on the floor without blocking the doors Heater was bad, its mixed water type and shared, need to wait 2 hours for the water to heat up Noise was bad, they gave you earplugs because they knew. No soundproofing in room Had to move chairs into the toilet to make space No cooking utensils provided, but somehow have a induction cooker and a smoke exhaust, placed way too low so i keep banging my head into it Location was in the middle of two stations, either you walk 10minutes or you pay expensive bus fare. Wifi was bad, i had to keep switching between 2 SSIDs they provided. No space to hang clothes Musty smell when coming back in the night even with the door locked
The quilt was warm Good view of skytree from the window

United StatesI would give them ZERO star if I have options. The room smells really bad. The property said they will come to fix but they never did. Lied twice!! Do not trust them and they kept having excuses. The room is too smelly to stay, ends up I have to check out early and find another hotel within short amount of time. They never said anything or allow me to switch to another room. Avoid this place. Do not book with ZAITO!!!
