We didn’t like the fact the Nikki beach was the only pool available for hotel guests to to the works. We were not advised at reception that we had to pre book a bed even though we asked the question when checking in. I’m currently pregnant and the hotel were not attentive to this when at the pool i had to sit on a bar stool every day which is extremely uncomfortable at 6 months pregnant, I felt this was unacceptable considering how much we paid to stay at the hotel for a period of 4 nights. The building works Monday-Friday we’re extremely noisy and only off at the weekend. Some members of staff were extremely rude giving me weird looks because of my bump which made me feel extremely uncomfortable I have never been anywhere else that has acted like this towards a pregnant lady.

The location was good, we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which were beautiful. I had a lovely pregnancy massage at the spa which was amazing.

The location was excellent. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean, comfortable and we had an impressive view of the hairpin. The food, drinks and service was fantastic! The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall we had a fabulous stay here and we would certainly stay here again.

They have a Nikki beach concession operating at the pool, and if you are a resident, you are shown to a small area of 'free beds' at the back of the pool area. You can't use any of the poolside large beds unless you pay. I understand the reasons for this, but it became a bit ridiculous when there were lots of residents crammed into a small area at the back and 80% of the 'Nikki Beach' beds left empty!

Fantastic. We arrived by car after battling heavy traffic - the Fairmont concierge team were great and took over as we pulled up. Every member of staff was delightful, from check in to the restaurants. We had dinner at Horizon outside and the food, service and views were terrific. We were given a recently refurbished bedroom with sea view and it was perfect - a great job done by the hotel. We were looking forward to our first visit here and it didn't disappoint.

One of the days Nikki beach (pool area) was closed, which was a shame as we couldn't use those facilities for the day. Also a lot of noise from the new buildings that surround the hotel. I felt the outside of the hotel didn't represent the inside of the hotel. So maybe they will update this once all the building works have been completed.

As it was one of my friend's 50th Birthday celebration. I could not fault the hotel for everything. They even placed a little something in the room for our friend, which was very lovely. This was the first time for my friends to visit Monaco & stay at the Fairmont, so we were all very pleased with everything. This is my 3rd time at the hotel
