Hong KongWe went to the pool in the hotel/ Nikki beach. We went very late when quite empty and said to the lady we were only staying around 1 hour as we have dinner reservations at 7.15. She said we have to sit at the back around the corner unless we pay for the whole day around the pool and open a bottle. We said that we cannot drink a bottle as we have dinner soon. I feel that we paid a high price for a room and cannot sit around the pool whilst so empty. When I mentioned to another guy who served me a drink he said they can change the price or terms of the beds sitting round the pool. I feel this is ridiculous especially when we said we only have 1 hour and we can come back tomorrow to drink a bottle. I feel they try to push us to open the bottle when actually we can decide that on our own. So when we mention this to the hotel we waited for a manger for a long time and in the end gave up. Secondly we went to go to the beach and the lady at the desk said there was no car and we would have to walk. Understand there was no car however she never mentioned about the name of the part of the beach was not Fairmont and therefore looking round for a long time. We had no information. Actually at the desk another lad said there was a car- so was not actually sure who was correct. Also this was my first time that was being charged 10 euro for ice. We travel around the world at many hotels and this is my first time.

United KingdomThe rooftop pool at the hotel was consistently busy, with loungers and shade often being unavailable even for those with reservations. The temperature of the pool was akin to a warm bath, which may not suit all guests. Additionally, the availability of poolside loungers for a group of three was limited, with requests for an extra lounger often being denied. The breakfast staff and offerings were commendable, though there was some disappointment regarding the pre-packaged pancakes rather than made-to-order ones. In comparison to similar hotels, this may be considered a shortfall. The most significant issue faced during the stay was the broken or inefficient air conditioning in the room, which was reported multiple times without a satisfactory resolution. Despite assurances of repair, the temperature did not significantly improve, leading to discomfort during the stay. Ultimately, the hotel's environmental policy limited the ability to adjust the room temperature below 22 degrees Celsius, which was incongruous with the guest's experience. This may be a deterrent for future stays at the property.
The valet parking attendants and porter staff at the hotel were exceptional and truly exemplified professionalism and hospitality. Their assistance in re-packing our vehicle, despite a larger load than when we arrived, was invaluable and greatly appreciated. Their dedication to providing excellent service is a true asset to the hotel.

The amount paid for two hotel rooms; and then you don't get access to both pools? Have to pay AGAIN to use the second pool, which was full so couldn't do anyway. Entirely not sure why this establishment is so popular. Arrived at 5pm and was told our 2nd room wasn't ready, even tho check-in is 3pm. Very disappointed with this experience.
