I expected a better room which I received initially, but for a better rate, I get finally what I wished to receive. My expectation was fullfiled, but paying a bit more.

I would expect any Hotel which is building a new Wing just a couple of meters next to the guestroom balconies to inform the guests prior to the reservation or even not use the rooms facing the construction site. It is a nice hotel but no-one would be happy to pay 750 € / Night and wake up at 07:00 o'clock with the construction workers 5m away from the windows using pickhammers at full power... Nobody was interested at checkout time if we had a nice stay so i did not get the chance to mention the above.

The bed was not comfortable and they didn't have a coffee machine or kettle in my room. For the price we paid that should be standard. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was relatively poor with very few options.. We asked for a taxi and waited for more than an hour... Our experience was not 5 star at all.

The classic look is great and grand, beautiful well decorated, and romantically cozy..I really loved their decor. The experience didn't match the price...

The Hotel location, of course, is perfect. This Hotel is quite luxurious. The rooms are very nice, and all hotel restaurants and bars are extremely good.

absolutely everything, the hotel was perfect! everything was so clean and nice. the swimming pool was beautiful, the food was delicious. the personal was really charming and nice. I book a cake and a vine bottle for my husband’s birthday and everything was perfectly planed when we get to the room! I recommend this hotel a 100 percent

The food could have been better for the price, and the waitstaff at the main restaurant was slow.

We enjoyed the privacy of the hotel, given that the two other most luxurious hotels had entrances right off the main roads. Metropole has a longer driveway and is much quieter. We also loved the service at the pool, and generally around the property.

Beautiful hotel and it has so much class. I wanted to organise extras in the room for our arrival as it was my partners birthday so I wanted to surprise him with balloons, cake, wine etc, Celine was extremely helpful in organising this for me. All staff were attentive, we managed to get a lounger by the pool everyday. Location was perfect, everything was pretty near by, breakfast was lovely. Concierge were also very helpful in getting us transport to a restaurant every night. Our stay in Hotel Metropole made our trip to Monaco one to remember!

The only negative is the side we were staying there is a block of apartments that aren’t particularly nice to look at, so not much view.

Being a vegan there was very little choice of food. Even though their menu stated items could be made vegan when we asked for this it was refused, and on the one dish they did (removing tuna and anchovies etc) full price for the dish was still charged with nothing extra added.

The rooms are very not a 5 star hotel room. We paid the same amount at Hermitage and got twice the size and luxury. The room is old. And tiny we didnt have room for our 2 person luggage’s. Totally not Value for money. But yes for Michelin Star restaurant!

The hotel was beautiful and the restaurant was amazing. Spa pretty but not really deep tissue, but great smell. The Staff amazing.

The room was old and tatty. We asked for a room with a bath, got put in a room with a shower. Happened to walk past the open door of the next room which had a bath. So had to go to reception and change rooms etc. Staff were very off hand. Quite rude checking in, no glass of champagne or water. Just demanded our passports. My wife's passport is still in her maiden name, but they refused to acknowledge her and just put the room and everything in only my name. Wouldn't even put her address the same. Was awful. No taxi's anywhere, the staff couldn't care less. Just shrugged their shoulders. Don't waste your money. Definitely not 5 star. Only worth the swimming pool and the restaurant. The rest is old and very very tired. Really really disappointed.

Stay away! Terrible old hotel with dirty rooms, strong smell of mold everywhere in the hotel and in the rooms. Such a shame that it is a part of Leading Hotels of the World group. Food is below average.

Rooms are very small for the price. Over priced drinks and not a very varied menu Shrunk 4 designer T-shirts Arguing to the point where the manager of Dior was brought up the hotel to confirm the T-shirts were shrunk, hotel manager was rude. Enough said deffo will not be back!

Its very old, wallpapers were coming off the walls of the rooms, the carpets smell of disgusting humidity, the hallways smell of old-ness, overall, if you’re paying 1.5k+ per night, the staff should be servants of the guests, because thats what you’re payong for, to br served. Staff had this weird ego attitude which wasnt too nice. One more big problem, the housekeeping gives you 2 bottles of 250 ml water a day for free and if you want more you have to pay 13 euros per bottle!!!! So late at night you might as well drink from the tap than buy water for 13 euros from these thieves
