Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis is a 3 star hotel masquerading as 4 star hotel in a 5 star location. The lounge area is not comfortable and felt more like a waiting room. Fitness area is tiny and hot! Very limited dining options, breakfast buffet was terrible and the food was cold, 2 days in a row. The setting, our room and view was amazing.
Staff was amazing and helpful.

United StatesAIr conditioning in room was not working. Two different people told us that the government of Monaco had not given them “permission” to turn on AC yet for “environmental” reasons. Yeah, right. Funny how the reception area and restaurant had great AC. The guy who delivered a fan to the room admitted the AC was down and hoping to be repaired. Hate being lied to. Couldn’t open the windows while in the room due to road noise below. You do have a nice view of the boats but a busy road runs between the hotel and marina.Staff refused discounting the rate for our poor night of sleep due to the heat. Room was otherwise comfortable and large but not two separate rooms as pictured. 29E for the breakfast “buffet” is a joke. We ordered a la carte and got cold pancakes but a delicious omelet, for about 50 bucks. Hotel is 3plus stars, definitely not 4 stars.
Provided early check in. Courteous and helpful reception

United KingdomNo Milk!! Could not get hold of reception or back of house for assistance, had to go down to the bar to raise someone! welcome e-mail to confirm we could drop bags off early and use sauna & Jacuzzi facilities we non existent and told they had not been reinstated since covid!! power to the coffee/kettle area didn't work! shower head leaked! wardrobes had various bits broken/missing. Breakfast was an appalling affair, very little on offer and then add the price, take an example of the welcome hotel in ville franche! Staff were just about bothered but certainly didn't go out of there way or make you feel welcome. It appears they ride on the location and location alone. The 6th floor restraunt not worth the price tag and staff rude!
Junior suite was very well appointed and decor lovely, bed very comfy, first floor views poor blocked by trees

FinlandOtherwise the hotel was great, but there was a horrible noise thorough the hotel, because of renovation of the building next to the hotel. When we booked our hotel this was not mentioned, and we received a notification from the booking.com approx. 1-2 weeks before - at this point we tried to search some other hotel, but it seemed impossible due to the very short notice period. We felt super disappointed as we paid the full price and had to listen that noise during our stay.
Superb views, nice and spacious rooms. Great location to explore Monaco.

NigeriaVery Unaccommodating! It was my wedding morning and I had booked a room from the night before and asked for late check out but they refused to allow us stay an extra 2 hours to get ready for the wedding even though right from booking I had mentioned and there were rooms available! Would not recommend! Very terrible! We had to book another room in another hotel just for 2 hours, as it was peak season that was tough!
Nothing, it’s decent!

United Arab EmiratesI accidentally booked the wrong evening but they made me pay another night unfortunately. We were facing the marina and was very noisy. There was no conditioner or shampoo in the room and the wifi don’t work in our room. We called maintenance up but they couldn’t help. I could only get wifi in the lobby.

United KingdomHotel feels dated, the smell in all common areas from reception to the lifts is stale, there is no lobby/downstairs bar to speak of and breakfast is served in a very basic area next to the reception (where a small bar also seems to be). Makes it impossible to enjoy and relax. No swimming pool and I don't know where the gym was. Breakfast was average in terms of quality and range. There were extremely noisy drilling works next to the hotel (which are set to continue for a long time by the way) - of which we had not been warned at the time of booking (we received a notification of the 'works' next door but could not have imagined the they would make it impossible to stay in the hotel - even if you had breakfast early enough, they started at 8.30am. Overall, it was far too expensive for the experience offered and should not be rated four star.
The room is spacious and the view overlooking Port Hercule is great. The bar/restaurant at the top of the hotel (which is also a separate restaurant Le Mont) is brilliant.

United Kingdomthe air con didn’t work until engineer came out. a guide on how to use it would have been beneficial. more coffee sachets and variety of drinks in the rooms would have improved our stay. when dining at the restaurant the waiter service was intense. I couldn’t move before some was by my side asking to do something for me. on a tiny table for 2 it was very crowded and felt that we could not enjoy the food or conversation.
the central location. we were very excited to be staying on the Grand Prix track. the room was really comfortable, could not fault the facilities. the roof top restaurant was unbelievable, so beautiful to dine there at night. we liked that you had secure parking available.
