Location is great. This is the highlight of the hotel experience. Hotel breakfast and food selection is sparse but OK! Staff is friendly and responded quickly on the chat -but it seemed odd that they could not remember our room number even after 4 nights. Hotel decor is good and insta friendly.

The road to get to the hotel is in poor condition with a lot of severe pot holes which makes it slow to drive. Be prepared for prices more like LA than Mexico but definitely don’t let it deter you from visiting!

Location is truly paradise. A beautiful stretch of beach which is well maintained by hotel staff. Staff were amazing for our entire stay. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Food was delicious and the included breakfast was great

Being at the southern end of the hotel beach zone, it occasionally felt a little too far from all the cool restaurants, bars and shops on Tulúm’s beach strip. But walking along the beach rather than the road was the solution to that.

The hidden fees! Lots of random charges and no filtered water available on property to refill water bottles. Bottled water exorbitant. Also taxis to and from the hotel district (approx 1mile) are insane. Upwards of $40 one way and seemed to have gotten pricier as the weekend went on. It’s a shame bc beach it stunning but sadly the prices have gotten out of control in Tulum.

-Missing some details to the rooms. -They give you "free coffee" in the room, but you have to buy $190 pesos bottle of water. To be honest, we brought ours. But with that view, you can't complain. Having the ocean in front, feeling the breeze, and hearing the waves is priceless.

Excelent location. Diego and Maximiliano are amazing. The cleaning and restaurant staff is fantastic. They are super pet friendly and attentive. We really loved our stay there. Very peaceful and beautiful. The shower and bed are good.

Breakfast, one day you were charge the service fee and others not. Totally overpriced considering others hotels nearby 40% cheaper in drinks, and 20% cheaper in food.

The Location is the best of all the hotels in the area, also Juan Carlos the person from reception is the best, very friendly and caring. Also, the hotel was very kind to let us leave at 1 pm, instead of 11 am.

Sadly it was disappointing in many ways. I note that having filtered drinking water was raised in a review in august 2024 and casa gitano responded and said they would look into this. This was not the case and it was unclear how to access drinking water unless you wanted to pay a lot of money for 1 bottle. There was a small jug of filtered water available in the bathroom. Many other lux hotels of the same category had plenty of filtered water available for their guests. We noted that the room did not have a coffee machine as stated in the room description and it was three days and a bit of a discussion with reception who said there were now not enough coffee machines for all rooms. And then we had to try and negotiate for some extra coffee capsules - only 2 a day allowed. ( which again is not a usual hotel policy for a more luxe hotel )- but we only had a coffee machine for 2 out of the 5 days so an apology and some resolution would have been considerate I tried to explain that the room also needed a chair for the desk and outdoor furniture which was not resolved by the time we left. The restaurant is extorionately expensive and in comparison to the other hotels and restaurants in the adajecent areas. THe food was reasonable , though could have been more inventive for vegetarians - we found some excellent food further down the beach and in town. On the last day we. needed. our passports in the room safe to check in, only to find out that it was unable to open. Wehad to wait for the only manager with a key for about 45 mins on our last day in the afternoon in the room and when he arrived there was no introduction and no apology - just opened and then said we would have to manage without a safe for the evening until we left. No other provision was offered. All in all I wish I had reviewed the reviews more closely as there is an echo of the unprofessionalism of the staff and their policies.

The location was the main reason we chose the place. THe photos and their website were very good and enticing. The view from the room had the beach and sea in the view, however I am uncertain whether we actually got the ocean room suite that I had paid for. When the two hotels on adajacent sides are built there will be less beach views available especially from room 17 which also looked over an empty building site.

Their were doing construction the entire time we were there on the beach in front of our room. The owners call this a luxury boutique property but it still has a lot of work to do to be classified as luxury compared to other properties on Tulum Beach Road. No facilities at all other than the restaurant.

We had a great room right in front of the sea. South part of Tulum Beach Road is nice and quiet.
