Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMay be difficult if you don't speak any Spanish as you are encouraged to do so.
Lots of open space and colonial design with varied breakfast options, helpful staff and a fun, lively bar with great atmosphere and mexican karaoke. Near Zocalo but not too noisy. Put a lot of effort into Dia De Los Muertos decorations. Arrange tours for you. Couldn't choose a better hotel with authentic Mexican feel.

United KingdomThe breakfast was bad you could have one small cup of coffee or a fruit juice. If you asked for both or a top up he told you it would be extra. What you was allowed to eat off the menu awas very basic and they often ran out of things. It was also very noisy at night but I don't think you can get away from it in the centre of the city.
The hotel was very authentic mexican although very tired.

PanamaSaid it before
Front desk staff were horrible except for Antonio who was very helpful. There was an event called Mexico City Pride which I was not aware of an the some of the streets closed off. I walked 6 blocks with my suitcases and asked for some help woth the front desk staff and none was given. Three were behind the desk. Very disappointed overall despite the low price paid. Service is still the key factor in an overall package. Thank you

United StatesTheir Covid protocols are crazy. We stayed April 14, 2022 and each time we entered the building they had us was our shoes, use hand sanitizer, temp check, and sprayed us down with bleach. We stayed in a room right on the street. The light outside was incredibly bright, trafick noise all night, and the floors squeeked so loudly that when I went to the bathroom in the night I woke everyone up. The staff was fine but not friendly.

CanadaWifi and noisy bar nearby
The wifi only worked right next to the router near the door or bathroom. And the street was busy/noisy on the weekend with a bar nearby, but otherwise it was great! The staff were helpful organizing a taxi back to the airport $220MXN

United StatesI think I ended up paying a whole lot extra money. When I booked on booking.com I thought there was going to be another person with me, but I ended up going alone. Somehow I ended up buying three days worth of breakfast for two people! What would’ve been a $50 a night room turned out to be $75 a night because of this blender on my part. The receptionist was inflexible about changing it. I would not recommend getting breakfast option in advance. There are TVs blasting, and the food is mediocre.. The menu that they give you with your coupon is not as extensive as the regular one. and everything is so inflexible… The noise on my third night there was really loud until about two in the morning. There is a bar downstairs that hadn’t been a problem until the weekend began to draw near and then it got crazy.
