Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaFood prices were eye watering but compatible to others in New Caledonia. Wine particularly expensive. $Aus 10 for a 1.5 litre bottle of water which we ordered by accident. The tap water is fine. There were cheaper snack options $aus 30 for a burger. Nowhere else to eat nearby.
Very comfortable and relaxing. Bungalow was delightful, roomy and very comfortable. Everything you could think of was provided.

AustraliaIf it is tranquility and nature you are looking for - this just has to be the place. Picture postcard perfect -beautiful tropical gardens sweeping down to the resorts private beach with soft white sand and sparkling aqua water. Palm trees, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, lying in the sun reading a book followed by cocktails as the sun goes down. It seems you are a million miles away from the cares of the real world - relax & breathe is all you need to do! A short walk for a swim and snorkel at the natural pool is a must and the walk itself is a joy. Large, comfortable rooms with balcony and wifi (if you must!), super friendly staff and 3 delightful resident cats. Lovely food and a great wine list and that accent...simply gorgeous! We would go back in a heartbeat.

ItalyRoom service food was of very poor quality Beware of that Ceasar salad!! AT the checkout there was a problem with the restaurant bill that included someone else’s dinner ,but that was easily solved (luckily we checked the bill ,if not we would have paid some not due 120 € !) Instead they charged us the 3% taxes that according to my Booking recepits where already included in the room fares I showed them the booking where it said so but thé lady at the reception said their accounting system would not allow the payment without thé taxes We where in aa hurry (the plane woud not wait for us) so I let go of it but frankly I did not like paying more that 30€ in taxes that I Had already paid
Great location ,comfortable beds Very good breakfast and dinner at thé hôtel restaurant but room service food was not as good, indeed I would not use room service next time

JapanWe had a few issues during our stay: - The aircon in the room stopped working, they offered to move us to another, which we did but it was annoying to have to pack everything and unpack again - there was no water in the resort for one day - The hot water in the room (in shower, sink, etc) stopped working. We were offered a late check out to compensate I never expected to experience that many issues in a high end hotel. Also, we had to ask many times for compensation (ie late check out) and even a discount but the hotel staff never proactively offered anything which was very disappointing
The location, the pool, the beach and having sports equipment available. The staff was very polite and friendly, I know the issues I mention below are not their fault.

AustraliaI would have loved some Melanesian cultural entertainment on the Saturday night.
Le Meridien was in an amazing location. I felt like I was in a movie somewhere between James Bond and Castaway. Saturday night's buffet was particularly good.

AustraliaHad the most wonderful stay! In a river bungalow and could not recommend more. Staff were all very attentive, accommodating, ridiculously friendly, and just lovely human beings. Food was great serving size and well priced considering location and accommodation style (also first place I’ve come across that has the traditional Kanak dish as a vego option!!!!). The best part which is not advertised enough is the hotel cat (paw paw) and dog (Dali). Both so sweet and Dali will even guide you around the island.

AustraliaAt the restaurant, the portions are quite small for considering the price. I understand for ppl who have money and who can afford starter, main and desert, it is not an issue, but for people who have to save up money to afford the stay, then it is a bit difficult. Also, there is a lack of option for vegetarians. On a different note, we bought expensive sunscreen from the reception and unfortunately for us, it didn’t work so we got a nice big sunburnt (brand: sun bum). Lastly, I wouldn’t recommend to go to Kuto beach for snorkeling with the hotel transfer but rather to rent a car for the full day and go there and visit the full island, it would end up cheaper and you will see more things. Not all excursions are currently being offered, sometimes it is just transfers. Now, these things mentioned didn’t affect our stay at all, this is just for future travelers to know. My partner and I will definitely be back and we highly recommend others to come to, we even subscribe to the Marriott Bonboy website.
We loved absolutely Everything. The welcome, the bungalow, the location, all the available activities on site (chess, kayak, snorkeling in the natural pool, gym, swimming pool, table tennis, badminton, swimming pool) and the excursions offered (take the pirogue tour, it is breathtaking). The breakfast is super good too and the dinner food as well, but it wouldn’t be as enjoyable without the friendliness of the stuff, easy to talk to, happy to help. Also, best of the best, the cat director. For any animal lovers, you’ll be happy to be greeted every morning and every night by the cutest cat ever.
