The hotel is located at the heart of city center and all shops are around you. The staff are super amazing and very very pleasant, ensuring that you are enjoying your stay.

Cocktail bar was a let down, music too loud, staff very pushy trying to upsell and insisting on explaining the menu, had to ask for bill repeatedly and beers not listed on the menu - all small things but added up made us regret not going elsewhere for drinks.

Excellent check in and check out prcoess, lovely staff and fabulous location. Couldnt be more central to everything which was amazing. Bed was comfortable, great shower and loved the tv size. But, the room was extremely small for 2 people. We were literally tripping over our luggage throughout our stay and couldnt move around at all, so we never wanted to be in our room. Theres also nowhere to layout your luggage or have space. Furthermore, there was a big conference going on when staying at the hotel, so was very noisy in all the main areas and hallways. Roomservice options were limited and food was very average in taste/quality.

Only minor points which are personal preference - there was no mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom and not enough socket points for you to charge items, particularly if you needed an adapter plug. Again only personal preference, but we thought the lighting in the bathroom was a little too dim. This would not stop us from staying at this hotel again and we would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam

The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. It was very quiet in the room. Breakfast was amazing, there was everything you needed and more. The location of the hotel is perfect being in the centre and everything is easy to get to by walking, although there are also trams, etc. nearby should you prefer to use transport.

The property is a Grand Dame among Amsterdam hotels. The Anantara brand can be relied upon to maintain high standards and this is evident throughout - cleanliness, design, facilities and particularly Staff. This latter is one of the hardest aspects to achieve and even harder to maintain. But the property excelled in this regard. interactions with staff were engaging and friendly, their approach efficient and effective. Remarkable.

The hotel’s location is excellent! It is located right at the Dam Square which is very convenient. It is quite noisy at night but it wasn’t a big problem for us since we’re all super tired everyday we just fall asleep directly. The room is ok, its clean and replenished everyday all thanks to the amazing housekeeping team! They also have turn down service which was great! The one thing that stands out the most is the staff and their hospitality. From the front desk, concierge, bell captain up front, you are all awesome! Thank you for making all of us feel comfortable and at home. You all exceeded all our expectations! The breakfast is also delicious, highly recommended!

Loved my stay, i was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to the Presidential Suite the space was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

The location is fantastic, right on Dam Square and walking distance to most of the main visitor spots in Amsterdam. We loved the Tailor cocktail bar although cocktails were expensive. The hotel is huge so not for those looking for a homely environment. I had requested a room in a quiet location which we got so that was fantastic.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Room was spacious with lovely furnishings and had stunning bathroom fittings. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. As the hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam and has its own parking we opted to go in our car - unfortunately our guidance system took us through the red light district what was kinda stressful trying to avoid to hit someone but the valet service let us forget all that in one second. The room, the staff (thank you Elvi for your kindness), the breakfast, the bar, ... it's all amazing - no better place in Amsterdam to stay if you want to be close to the centre.
