We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

LithuaniaLocation is on residential area with a lot of construction works going on around. it’s only 2 km walk from central station, but walking is not pleasant. Therefore a bus stop is very close and it’s just couple of stops to ferry which goes every 5 min and is free.
Brand new and modern apartment, well equiped, in quiet area. Staff is very helpfull. we had issues with door lock but they put all efforts to solve that.

Czech RepublicFirst of all, there is everything online. Which seems good, if it is working, but...at the beginning there are coming a lot of emails about check in. I am really busy and don't have time to read so many mails. Than there come some email with app, which "will be necessary to open apartment". There was a mess, because we had two apartments and only one code. Than when we come there, we found out, that we don't need this app but code wasn't working. They send us some guy, who tried it. It wasn't working. Than he give us different which worked, but when we came back from city, it wasn't working again, so we have to call with some women and it took half an our since we get to apartment. Was horrible. Second one is that we had broken (did not drain) sink and missing cattle, but both of this they fixed immediately. In second apartment did not drain shower, which we have to clean, because was full of hairs.
The accommodation was fine for weekend. The location was really good, because it is just 15minutes walk to ferry station and then few minutes to the centre. Ferry is for free. Facility of apartment is good. BUT

AustriaThere were some issues: we could not open the windows without some difficulty, during a heavy rain fall event water came into the flat under the front door, we could not operate the oven (no instructions were found), some of the pot and pans were dirty, the bathroom also wasn't very clean.
The apartment was bright, comfortable, well equipped and close to the old city centre, supermarket and public transport nearby, nice neighbourhood atmosphere.

United StatesThe bathroom has no door. Smells and privacy are a concern when staying with others in the same room. We could smell one another's restroom time business when laying in the bed. Yuck. And hear it. Ugh.
The size of the room and a/c, kitchen, washer and dryer. It felt like a small apartment one could live in rather than vacation only.

South AfricaI booked the room for my son and his 2 friends, the room was double booked so they arrived late at night to a debacle of note. The first night was very frustrating but please note that the owner/agent went to great lengths to make it right which is important. Including politely listening to me, a protective and upset mother ‘get it off her chest!’ I have no doubt that this will be avoided for future bookings. My son and his guests were very happy with everything else and grateful for the agent/owner’s efforts. They enjoyed the rest of their stay.

United KingdomSelf check-in was a little confusing. More explicit directions on the location of the entrance would be handy as Google maps does not take you to the right location. A bit more information regarding the open bathroom would have been appreciated. We did not have a problem as we could adjust around it, but a specific heads-up would have been nice.
The facilities were excellent. The kitchen was well equipped, so we made 2 meals during our stay. The coffee machine was also good in the mornings. The room was very tidy and the bed was excellent, even the sofa bed. The patio outside provided a nice quiet place to sit. Neighbours were not noisy and if they were, we did not hear anything. To get into the city, we could walk 20 minutes to get to the ferry that transported us across the river.

Beautiful apartment, had a bit of bother finding the place and getting in, but a phone call to the owner and all was sorted..We all had great sleeps, in fact one morning , we all slept till 11am!!

BulgariaI really liked the fact that there was a washing machine, an oven, a fridge, a coffee machine, in general all the kitchen appliances one may need which is really mindful, the whole apartment is stylish, spacious, the owners are very friendly and ready to help. There were extra towels, which we really appreciated. The building was in close proximity to transportation, which is always a bonus.

Amazing apartment modern had everything we needed. Great location 20 mins walk to the free ferry to takw ypu accross to central amsterdam and about 15 min walk to shops and bars. We went to an awesome sky bar!
