The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the junction between two single beds didn't help unforunately. A wardrobe could have been present.

The location is great, right at the heart of Valkenburg with many Christmas markets around. The staff is very well behaved and explains everything well. The room is clean and facilities are present.

No hook for coats. Although we had a basic room, would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. As we paid £80 per night, I don't think this is an unreasonable request.

Did not feel the room we had was luxuruous as mentioned by staff. Large enough room but bathroom quite small. The mattresses moved away from the bed when you turned over in your sleep, not the best bed. Staircase upto the room in the apartments at the top had small tread and felt somewhat dangerous when carrying luggage not too bad without luggage

Breakfast and breakfastroom was excellent. Staff friendly. Loved the position of the Hotel in the centre of the town. No need to use the car when parked up. Glad we booked the car park space at 11 Euro daily, otherwise parking quite expensive otherwise

Lift is quite old fashioned - but it works. Don't even attempt the stairs !

Hotel is very well situated = quiet car-free zone right by the Canal, all Bars/Restaurants just around the corner, the parade comes right past you and the Caves are a 10 minute walk. Staff are very helpful and polite. Reasonable choice for breakfast, but the Dutch can't 'do' Coffee... Parking was safe and about 300m away for €11/night.

The lift was very small and old. No hand rail in the shower /tub to grab on while getting in and out of bath or in case one was to fall. No trash can in the suite area. Just a very very tiny one in the bathroom. Tv out dated and not easy to figure out. Also no radio in the tv.

Breakfast was so yummy !!!! I enjoyed it for 2 mornings. The restaurant area was also very nice. Location was Fanstatic. Very friendly staff!! The jr. suite was very spacious, Modern bathroom and WC. Bed pretty good. Clean room.

The reserved parking spot is a bit crowded if there are other cars. If you have parking spot number 1, there seems to be a decent chance you can get parked in by number 2. Secondly, we expected the apartments to have an elevator. So it was a bit of a surprise there wasn't one. Had to carry a stroller upstairs, which was inconvenient.

The apartment felt really spacious and clean. Also the location was perfectly situated in the middle of the city centre. Ideal if you have a newborn in a stroller. Kitchen was also nicely stocked, dishwasher, fridge, microwave.

The only thing we missed at our appartment was a sofa instead of two seperate chairs. Because we were with three people, this meant that we couldn't sit comfortably with all of us together.

Great place, the little appartment offered privacy and was very clean, with nice beds. The front desk staff at the main hotel was very friendly and offered us advice and let us stash our bags the last day after check-out so we could explore the city some more. Also the breakfast provided there was very nice.

Noisy at night because there wasn't air con on our floor, so you had to have the window open (despite the fan). Doors to the rooms and corridor slammed loudly and there was an electric cable near the top of thr stairs, which was a trip hazard. Reception staff were largely unhelpful when asked about the advertised Spa promotion etc.

The location was central, very clean, and beds comfortable. Soundproofing between the rooms was excellent.

the Sun-umbrella was broken. And as per my understanding it was broken long time ago but nobody put the attention for this. It is quite easy to repair it or change.

Great that they had a tub on each table at breakfast for peelings, teabags, butter wrappers etc but didn’t like that each had a plastic bag which was thrown out adding to the huge amount of plastic going to landfill. Better to use strong paper bag
