The unit had no AC and the only way to get air into the unit was to open a balcony door which made me feel unsafe at night.

Reception areas were very nice and comfortable. Reception staff were excellent. Restaurant staff were a bit too exuberant in the evenings, it was all rather noisy! Breakfast was super.

Bathroom was not perfectly clean and one light bulb was out of order. We chose a suite and there was not enough light in the living room. We had dinner for five at the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to get the meals. Night park was outside of the building and charged.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. The suite we had was reasonbly quiet and large. Breakfast was very nice with good quality and a large variety of products.

The bar closed too early - many of us staying were at gigs at De Beorderij, and would have come back to the hotel earlier if the bar had stayed open. There was also what looked like a stabbing incident om the bridge near the railway station/tram stop late on Saturday night - I would advise travelling in numbers or getting a cab - I am guessing that the Golden Tulip at Zoetermeer is not in one of the safest parts of town.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, breakfast was expensive for what it was but good.

The two single beds next to each other are not attached. They easily slide apart so you fall in between. The breakfast was ok, but for that price I expect more. The neighbourhood is very ugly.

Animal friendly hotel which is really very nice. But. If you are too sensitive to cleanliness or allergic to animals, this is not the hotel for you. We were pet-free, but found pet hair on the chairs and furniture in the room.

Booking.com advertised our room as a two room’s apartment, but ultimately it was just one environment. Traveling with kids we always look for solutions were there is at least one bedroom that closes. This is apparently not possible anywhere in this hotel. Additionally, the window door in our room was left open before we arrived and it was impossible to close. It was later explained to us that there is a very strange and not intuitive, system to close it but nevertheless we had to sleep in a room with a window constantly ajar and the risk our oldest would just go out. In addition someone was smoking heavily on the balcony and we couldn’t close the window so the smell was terrible.

The room was really spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and with lots of variety. Stuff was extremely helpful.

Breakfast could have been better - a decent variety to choose from, but the coffee and the orange juice were nothing special, and it was a long wait for the eggs.

The apartment was nice, clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Too many rules. Can’t eat take out food at the hotel bar table when they don’t have an onsite restaurant open. Room’s were really small. No USB power ports in the rooms.
