Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Connected to their wifi all the time, but there was no Internet in our room for the whole stay, I never tried another area in the building if there was a signal

The hotel was at full occupancy and the 2 lifts were not enough to cope with the traffic, so we often had to wait for multiple lifts until there was space in one. Breakfast was good but overpriced.
The room was small but clean, with a desk and chair for working at the window. The bathroom was small but fully equipped, and great shower pressure. The staff were always very polite and helpful.

Bathroom was a bit odd (it was build in a circle like room, not the normal square like ones haha) but it didnt really bother us. We still did our chores with no problem.
Very clean, nice rooms and close to the city center (25 min aprox. with bus). Bus station right in front of the hotel. Staff was very nice, they cleaned our room every day.

Would be great to have the breakfast included or for more reasonable price (not 18 euros per person).
Despite it wasn't in the center, it was pretty accessible with a single bus that stops in front of the hotel. It was great even on Sunday morning when we needed to go to the airport.

The bathroom it could’ve been better cleaned but overall it was a good stay.
Spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were so lovely and helpful Big thanks to Gajen (sorry i don’t think i wrote is correctly)he went overboard to help us with an issue we had with our car (he helped us find a car service and arrange for us a booking (many thanks you are a star)! Also big thanks to Macieji for helping me prepare a small surprise for my husband birthday(free of charge), We really appreciate the effort this made our stay lovely. Many thanks guys xx

The room had two minor downsides, though they were quite insignificant. There was no refrigerator, and the heating could have been slightly better. While these didn’t impact our stay much, they are areas that could be improved.
The room was spotless and comfortable, fully meeting my expectations. It was well worth the price and made for a delightful stay. I would definitely recommend it to others.

It was around 40minutes to get into central amsterdam.

Room was basic even for Ibis standards (and we've stayed in loads) - no kettle/tea and coffee facilities in the room. Hard bed. It was alright for a 2-night stay, but for longer I'd rather find someplace else.
The staff was fantastic, the room was very clean. Bathroom was nice. Decent location, close to the city centre with direct bus next to the hotel.
