Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaHonestly the only thing I would change would be the mattress but that’s a matter of personal preference.
Absolutely everything! The staff went out of their way to assist with absolutely every hurdle I stumbled across. All of the staff did their best to speak English which I appreciated so much. The location was fantastic. Just 2 blocks from the metro and 2 blocks from the train station also. 12 euros in a taxi to get into the city. From the metro you can get to centraal station and hop on a ferry or canal boat, hop on hop off bus, train, tram etc. I flew to Ibiza after Amsterdam with no checked luggage allowance. It was no problem to leave my cases with them until I return. I took the breakfast option and so glad I did. Each morning I had a fresh roll with egg and Brie and a fresh juice. I’m not a granola person but I gave it a go anyway. They have an honesty system for snacks, drinks and hot beverages which was great. I made use of the VIP lounge downstairs for an hour, it was great to freely socialise late without annoying anyone in the camp. The staff even did my washing for a small fee and lent me their own personal phone charger! It rained quite a few times over the couple of days I was there, having previously traditionally camped before my arrival at the outside inn, it was so great to be able to shower and use the bathroom and hang things out to dry without having to worry about the weather! I had the absolute cutest caravan. I was the envy of a few other campers. When I arrived I said the only thing missing is a flamingo! Next minute off she runs and comes back with one.. seriously lol. The bed was a little hard for me but the pillows were fantastic! I wanted to take one with me! I’m not sure I will be back to Europe but if I am this is where I will stay. I hope I didn’t leave anything out. I HIGHLY recommend for singles, couples, families, anyone wanting a friendly quiet place with everything you need! Thanks to all of the beautiful staff!

CanadaOnly complaint is that the bathrooms are on a separate floor, so it's not for people who can't use stairs. Our room door was super loud to open and close, but that's just me being picky :)
Location was pretty good! Not exactly in the main hub of Amsterdam, but only a six minute walk from the subway station! Really adorable rooms, the privacy of the bathroom stalls was a must, and the common area was great. Nice to have a communal fridge too, use of a toaster, etc.

AustraliaQuite pricey but I would stay again
Cutest accommodation ever. Bed quite comfortable, good amenities. Caravan was quite warm but there was an option to get a fan & also had blankets if it got cold. A lot of showers & toilets. Easy enough to get to Amsterdam central, only a few stops away.

IrelandIt is not that close to the city centre but the metro station is a couple of minutes away from the property. Even though it’s further it is really easy to get to the city.
That was the second time I was staying at the hostel and I had a great time again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole place is very cute and tidy. I recommend it 100 times.

ItalyI expected a bigger caravan, but for few days it is OK.
I liked the stuff and the environment, nice atmosphere. It is an alternative place where to spend couple of days. I strongly recommend to do something different and new. The stuff was very helpful for everything we could need. About the location, I would say that it is good, because it's close to the metro but also to the trein station. It was a nice staying. Thanks a lot to the Italian guy at the reception, always available.

AustraliaWe stayed in one of the caravan and it was comfy but didn't have enough room for two large suitcases to be opened at the same time. So one had to be opened outside
We really enjoyed the accommodation and accessibility to the train line (only a 5 min walk to and from the accommodation!) the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and tidy. Would recommend :)

GermanyIt's a little cold without blankets, but there are some by the staff offered to you. However there are not many blankets available, so you have to hope, you're lucky enough to get one. If you're smart, you'll have a sleeping bag with you.
It was a very nice stay at the Outside Inn. Beautiful “rooms” in the caravans, quiet around the house and very clean restrooms. It’s comfortable for everyone, for families as well, because you can play, swing and simply just chill all surrounded by very smooth music and light. There was nobody disturbing others. That’s why the staff turns off the music and the lights at 11 pm. Your valuables can be locked. There are enough lockers right by the caravans. You get the key right with the keycard when you check in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You may also have (we don’t had) breakfast or some snacks as well as tea, coffee and cold drinks to buy. A fridge can be used by the guests for free as well as a Microwave We stayed the other night at a different (but also good) hotel but if we come back to Amsterdam we would prefer the Outside Inn. PS: Watch out: If you book "short" beds - they are really short and not very wide😉 But for small people or children it is perfectly adequate.

United StatesThere didn’t appear to be a trash can in the room (there is in the main room with all the RVs though), and the lighting isn’t the brightest. It’s not in the city center, but that’s why it’s a little cheaper, and it is closer to a metro to offset that.
It is everything it seems in the pictures, but better in person because you’re there and get to experience it yourself. They have shared bathrooms, which was the one part I was skeptical about, but everything has its own stalls and it’s kept up well. The showers have a bench with a divider for your things so they don’t get wet, and a shelf for toiletries in the actual shower part. The water was warm (although it is a shower where you have to press the button to get it to come on and it goes out fairly frequently—plus or minus depending on if you look at it as a sustainability help or an annoyance to you showering). There is also a downstairs area and lobby in which you can hang out in during quiet hours, both of which are great. I loved the old timey fridges (where guests can keep things) in the lobby, as well as the art on the walls. The lounge had very comfortable seating. The RV was very comfortable itself. Just enough space for our two suitcases and a good sized bed. Lots of storage in draws if you’re going to be there a while.
