The bathroom door is transparent so if you live with people that are not that comfy with privacy issues maybe would not recommend. They have a matt door to separate the bedroom but you can still see everything inside the bathroom.

Such a good location, 20 mins from the airport, 15 mins into the city. The hotel is very comfortable and you get a free drink at the bar! ;D

The only thing I’d say should be improved is the breakfast. Also the chrome casting to the tv doesn’t work unless your mirror your phone which can be quite awkward as you can’t use your phone whilst it’s being mirrored.

I loved the location of the property, it’s literally a 5 minute walk from the train station. The room se stayed in was cleaned well and we had no issues in there. The restaurant on the 21st floor is lovely - we had a meal there for my birthday. It is a mid to high end restaurant but the food was perfect! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The shower was a perfect size either way great water pressure.

The hotel is modern, perfectly located and the staff was nice. The bedroom was comfortable and quite big. The shower corner was really nice. I would have appreciated more closet space but we made it work for few days. The room was not the cleanest (dusty table and clogged sink) but the bed was really comfortable. We were missing some coffee or tea in the bedroom but then realized that it is in the common premises on our floor. It could be nice to have more info in the room about those things, there were some info in the tablet but for instance it took us some time to figure out the hours for breakfast until we saw them in the elevator. Overall a good experience but you have to be quite independent as there is a self check in so no staff is explaining you how the hotel works if you do not ask.

No complaints! It was clean, quiet in room, you can check yourself in and out - perfect for someone who doesn't want any faff. If you want a hotel where the staff are waiting on you, this isn't the right place, but if you want to be able to just do your own thing, it totally is!

Loved that you could help yourself to tea, coffee, water, an iron etc in the communal space on each floor (nothing I hate more than having x1 small water bottle in your room only!). Much more eco-friendly and easygoing for fully functioning adults travelling! Also loved the speakers in room, gave it a cool vibe.

One big pillow looked great but it flattened as soon as you lay down so maybe a 2nd pillow for variety would be great and an extra blanket in case of cold / wanting to feel snuggly

I got there around 8pm it was one girl beside the check in desk and she didn’t show any interest in help us to do the check in. If she doesn’t work with this would be better for she to stay in a private area.

Really close to the metro which gets you into the centre and also really close to the AFAS/Ajax stadium if you happen to be heading there, which we were. Hotel was pretty modern, great staff, good bar. Bed was up there with the most comfortable we've ever stayed on!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Ruby Emma! The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything upon request. We LOVEDDDDD the breakfast! I totally recommend everyone to add this on to your stay, it was very convenient, tasty, and very filling.

There's no real supermarket around this hotel, but that's not this hotel's fault. Just means if you want some drinks & snacks for your room you gotta buy it before you head back.

- Can hear the trains through the night every few minutes, not something that would stop us staying again but worth noting before booking - motion censored lights come on when you move in bed AND the toilet light is motion detection and no way to turn this off … - bathroom and toilet on opposite sides of the room So you have to try do that in the dark so not to wake your partner

- great location and good links into city centre - good digital features in the room including casting to tell. - well presented bar with good drinks Options and reasonable pricing for Amsterdam.

It’s the perfect location from Amsterdam Central! If you are like me, the prices in Amsterdam central are astronomical however, it’s always nice to stay in a central location as it’s easy to get around. However, this hotel is the sweetspot, 10mins on the train and you’re in central! McDonald’s right outside the hotel for quick breakfast or lasts night refurbishments. Lovely area to walk around and very quiet on weekends. Lastly, the hotel itself, super clean rooms, great facilities. It’s my go to from now on. I have stayed in a Ruby hotel in Switzerland as well, both just as good as each other

Lovely modern comfortable rooms. Hotel is in a great location from city centre. Metro is less than five minute walk from hotel. Metro can take you straight into central station and metro is very frequent every 5 minutes. Easy self check in and nice big bar.
