Problems with the air con in the rooms, no openable windows.

Perfect location, right beside the train station. Quiet neighbourhood, i would definitely stay in this locale again. Hotel was about 10 minutes into Amsterdam central station

hotel is in a nice area of amsterdam, a few kilometers of tge city center but easy to reach via train. nice bar at the lobby. friendly staff to help with check in (as our ipad didn‘t work to well and the process took some time). elevators working fast. nice ambiance. room was efficiently futnished. bed had a very good mattress. shower was good but interestingly enough no cold water available in our shower. very good choices for breakfast!

minimal amenities provided, no bedroom slippers, no toothbrush/toothpaste, no cotton pads/buds etc. the bathroom sink was not draining very well, only resolved after feedback to staffs. aircon was not cold enough even at lowest temperature.

There is no main reception to check in or out but a member of staff was always on hand if help was required at the self-check in. That’s the only problem with a fully automated hotel, you loose the personal touch and it just felt as though there was no one in charge, as in there didn’t appear to be a hotel manager, just staff on hand to help with the keypad checkin and staff for the bar / food area.

My room was very comfortable and modern design. The bar / lounge area was nice and relaxing and a good place to unwind after a busy day. The automation is very efficient, from the quickness and speed of the lifts and also you can press a button on the room iPad and a screen on the outside slides across the window to protect the sun glaring in and keeping the room cool.

The hotel was modern and clean. I was especially happy for their gluten-free breakfast option. You only need to tell the staff that you have a gluten-free diet and they will get you excellent gluten-free bread.

Food variety in a bar could be better. They only offer 3 types of pizza. For a health conscious person not enough. However, there is a nice (very classy) restaurant near by (Geogre and Marina), where I got everything I was looking for. I also would like to warn about location. The hotel is a bit far from the centre, but the metro is within 5 minutes walk and only a few stops away from the centre. Despite of this minor setbacks, I highly recommend this place

Breakfast is too expensive. Yes, the products are of good quality, but there are no hot dishes for such a price. This is perhaps the only shortcoming There is no safe, and it is a pity :(

Room: exellent! Stylish, cozy, calm. * We were surprised by sliding shutters, an elevator system and a tablet with a website where you can literally buy everything that is presented in the room. It's a cool marketing idea, because it often happens that you like something in a hotel and want the same for yourself, but you don’t know where to buy it. * Amazing branded soap, shower gel, body lotion - very pleasant smell and texture. * I also liked the layout of the hotel and the delimitation of the shower area and the relaxation area. Breakfast: very good selection of cheese and ham, good toppings, crispy and warm bread (that's a separate love!), hummus, delicious coffee, interesting tea infusions, tasty pastries - good croissants and banana bread. I was tasty and satisfying, but my husband was less satisfied, because. he did not have enough hot meals, or at least muesli. Bed was marvellous! comfortable mattress, soft duvet and comfortable pillows. And we also had a beautiful view from the 15th floor, that gave us a feeling of spaciousness and soaring. I also really liked the interior of the hotel lobby - it has a lot of stylish details and color combinations. But we wish it to be a bit more spacious, because when there is a queue for check-in, it becomes crowded. It's cool, by the way, that there is no check-out - you just leave the key card and that's it. We also enjoyed the neighborhood. It's modern, very clean, new and cozy. Metro and grocery store are literally 2 steps away. Separate respect for parking, where everything is automatic. The best parking we have seen in Europe.

The property is very close to train station to take you into the centre…..so be prepared to use train as walk is too long to get into the centre of Amsterdam.

Shower didn't drain very effectively, but didn't flood. Arriving to breakfast 30min before closing means limited selection, recommended to eat early.
