We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel was very clean and modern with good size rooms the bed was comfortable we liked that the room was controlled by the iPad extremely easy to manage everything from room temperature to tv to the lighting, the staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful the bar is nice and spacious the location of the hotel is about 10 mins out from central station on the metro which is super efficient and very easy to access and navigate, we would recommend this hotel and would stay at the ruby emma again

United KingdomThe staff weren’t great, the hotel itself was more like a BnB, so if you have issues you can’t contact anyone, there is just one person floating around downstairs, also the bath had now soap and the soap in the wet room is locked to the wall. The also have huge Marshall Bluetooth speakers which you could see as being a bonus but in our case until 5am in the morning it wasn’t
The room was really nice and well equipped, we did have the loft room, so I wouldn’t say it was the standard room

New ZealandThe location wasn't great for me. I should have done more research. I enjoy being able to walk out into an interesting neighborhood but that's not the case here. But, it's VERY hand to the subway and only a short ride to interesting areas.
The bar has excellent, though expensive, coffee. The staff are very helpful. My room was comfortable. The small shop behind the hotel is well-stocked for self-catering.

Hotel was comfortable but unfortunately I won't stay again as the rooms have no aircon or option to control your own room temperature (it was very hot and no window to open). The rooms are also not sound proofed so you hear the trains constantly as the track are right outside the hotel. The staff was fabulous!

IrelandThe breakfast was a bit disappointing, no cooked options, it was all just bread, sliced meet and cheese. We didn't know if there were renovations in the hotel. Some walls and ceilings were bare concrete, which wouldn't be bad if there were no stains and smudges on them.

VietnamI book the hotel last minute for 6 nights. But I put the wrong checked out date ( turn to 7 nights). After complete the booking I realized and asked for support from hotel. It is said that only booking.com can support, I contacted booking.com as they advised and being told that only if hotel agree, I need to work with hotel. I tried to ask for the support but they refused. I have to pay the night I did not stay. I myself own a 4 star hotel and I know hotel can 100% can support customers if they do care. I did for my customers many times. Money is not the point but the customer care is really disappointed.

QatarThe only thing i didnt like and because of it i wouldn’t come back to the hotel is the AC , i literally couldn’t sleep due the hot , i was surprised that no AC and no even windows ( even small opening for the fresh air ) i went at 4 am to reception to ask help was suffering without AC they were nice and helpful they offered a ventilation ( helped a little) but honestly because of that i wouldn’t come back
