It was not always clear how to get to our room or exit the property as there is a roof attraction and a night club. we found ourselves routed to the cold outdoors to get to the restaurant due to nightclub security! And with no coats-brrr!

This is a party hotel! One is offered a beer or Sekt upon check-in and the rooms have plenty of alcoholic drinks, record players, and vintage vinyl. The elevators are miniature discos and karaoke clubs. the pinball Machtanspruch pool table (along with vintage Pong) complete the scene. The rooms are extremely quiet and many offer a view of Amsterdam across the River. The gym is one of the best I have encountered in a hotel! We will be back!

Very comfortable bed, your staff are all wonderful, and the whole hip & relaxed concept works really well for travellers young & not-so-young (ie. us). A marvellous experience, thanks muchly Sir Adam.

Unfortunately some of the guests are quite disruptive, smoking and partying in the rooms.

Lovely hotel, love the design and vibe. Amazing and super friendly staff. Great location, super close to the city centre, while also very quiet.

If I had to come up with a negative, I’d say the hallways are very dark….but nothing was a problem.

Great staff at checkin! He gave us many good tip and a glass of cava while we waited, a bit, for our room to be ready. Delicious breakfast with quality selections. The area was interesting, with very easy access to the Central area, via the free ferries. would stay here again.

if I’m being picky the lighting in the hallways were very dark.

I love the rustic and modern style combination. my favourite aspect was the disco elevator!

We were charged for room service that we didn’t use, which seems to be common from reading the other reviews.

The hotel has so many great touches that makes the stay even more enjoyable, from the clean smell as you walk in, to the disco floor lifts and record players in the rooms! The roof top swing is definitely worth doing and the breakfast ended up being great value if you want the full English, very tasty!

I only had a small bad experience - there was a small spike made of metal on the floor of the room, and I accidentally stepped on it because it was so small. Please make sure rugs/carpets are vacuumed properly to avoid those issues in the future

Loved the actual building, there were a lot of things happening at the bar (lower levels of the hotel) so I definitely liked the vibe. I thought the staff was EXCELLENT. Everything was explained to me with plenty of details, plus they were very nice which is a must for me. I did not have the chance to try the breakfast. I really liked the style of the room and views

all great apart from coffee machine not working in any of the three rooms we had. when we asked about it we were told they weee just awkward to use… paying to go up to the swings for residents should be free

Each room has a record player but most of the records we borrowed were badly scratched, so more gimmicky in our experience.

Great staff with a great breakfast choice. Bar drinks reasonably priced.

There was a subtle noise from AC? Or a ventilator in the room that was on the whole night. Nothing else.

The location and the view were fantastic. Not in the heart of busy Amsterdam but only a ferry ride away from it. We got an upgrade to a corner room which gave us fantastic view. We paid a small fee for this upgrade. There is a bar downstairs and pinball machines. Don’t worry you don’t hear any noises in the bedroom from this. We loved the karaoke lifts! The room was a good size and it had the amenities you needed.

The hotel/property concept is hip and trendy with fun musical details. Location wise the place couldn't get any better for those who travel by train as you are just a 5 min ferry trip away from central station. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly/helpful
