The common room and the sanitary were clean until some people threw up and the floor and on the ping pong table. The smell was horrible and we came back in the morning we could still smell it and it has been cleaned very badly

The location was really great and calm.

The toilets were a bit of a walk from the cabin and were locked overnight so it was a treck going there at night in the dark

Very cheap considering it’s so close to Amsterdam Close to shops, free parking, heated cabin

Wish the bathrooms were free, and the air conditioning was a bit broken but we used a heater to heat us up.

Comfy bed, close to a lidl to buy food, and cheap hotel compared to others. Staff was really nice and there is a lake with ducks around

I didn't find it comfortable to always have to have a 50 cent coin on me So i could wash. I rather have the price included and be allowed to shower as much as i want.

It was a bit of a walk close to deep water in the night for toilets which wasn't ideal for kids but not really too much of an idea. We didn't use the showers as needed coins we didn't have. The bedding was lovely and clean. There was a kettle which was great if you have your own cup as no cooking utensils or crockery.

Great price, basic but.clean, dry and warm. Lovely clean bedding pillows, sheets, duvet all very very clean.

The toilet was quite distant, and payment was required each time. There were no lights in the compound. The staff was not cooperative enough to provide utensils in the middle of the night when we don’t have any other option. Also the check timings are limited and not ready to adjust even with prior request. Charged pretty high value for the bedding and blankets.

The room's cool location added to the overall experience

The shed was nice but very poor value for money especially as you have to pay extra for bedding. It is just a shed with some bunk beds after all.

Basic cabin. Clean. If you account for sheets and towels you end up paying the same price as for nearby hotels. Washrooms are a bit away in the shipyard building where the boats are being repaired.

As we are French, and as in the pictures there were a boiler and hotplate, we though there would be at least four cups, cutlery and some dishes. Unfortunately, there was not even a fridge to store food, and no dishes at all. We hadn't planned it, but you have to bring your owns. You have to pay to get a shower, and for the first 5 minutes, the water was super cold... Quite unpleasant. We also had issue to figure out how the heater was working. Fortunately, someone from the camping came to explain. You have to turn a key on the electric panel to turn it on. Moreover, the gardener coming at 8 am to cut the grass.... 10 am would be more appropriate when you're on holidays!

The location, the general quietness, the fair price for the season

It's not fair the fact that the price displayed on Booking when you are comparing to other accomodations (using the filters), does not contain all the extra charges - for bed linen, towels, shower access etc. The price almost doubles when you add these. There is no fair competition between accomodations. For example, the original cost was 68 Euro. Adding the extra charges: they asked 9 Euro per person for bed linen (even though on Booking is stated 7.5 euros) 9 X 4 persons equals 36 Euros. Plus 3 Euros for towels X 4 equals 12 Euros. Adding all up, the final price for our accomodation would have been: 68 + 36 + 12 + 2 (the shower access) = 118 euros. It's a big difference between 68 and 118 Euros. How can a accomodation be allowed to sell on Booking.com without included bed sheets and blankets? This way, soon we will be paying extra for a ceilling above our heads, or a toilet to use.. We brought our own bed linen and when we arrived there, they had only the pillows and the matresses. We had to pay 10 euro extra for blankets. You had to pay 50 cents to shower.

    The surroundings, the little house.
