If you plan to stay in the region of Kathmandu, I can recommend Kirtipur because compared to the center of Kathmandu it isn't too noisy and still you can go to Kathmandu by a cab very easy and cheap. The hostfamily around Aashish is unbelievable friendly. They help you with everything you could think of.
On first sight there may be cheaper options to sleep over in Nepal. If you consider that the prize includes not only breakfast but also lunch and dinner you won't find anything comparable here. Also the food is sooo good and always freshly cooked. In addition the homestay got a waterfilter, so you can fill up your waterbottles during the stay whenever you want.
