Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe menu at the restaurant never changes. If breakfast isn't included with your room it is VERY expensive for a buffet. An a la carte menu would be nice for someone who doesn't need a large breakfast. We went off the resort and had breakfast and other meals elsewhere.
The pool area was lovely and there were always lounge chairs and shade available.

United Kingdomthere was building repairs so noisy and the roofing materials being taken off made the lagoon messy
excellent breakfast, beach a bit messy, nice pool. the overwater bungalows were difficult to get into the lagoon as the coral was very shallow and you would have cut yourself getting into the water, not all bungalows were like that

United StatesThey did not have enough snorkeling gear. I do not believe that people return them each day either. Had champagne with buffet on 12/24 with a show, but that was mandatory and expensive. The buffet was ok, not spectacular, but the show was good. I had to prepay for this buffet even before I have to pay for the hotel rooms. They said if I don't pay, they will cancel my reservation! There is one staff named Yvette, she was not nice. Not only did she not smile, she seems upset when we sat down only for drinks (with no food) during happy hour. The bell front took some of our luggage but was unable to give them to me when our taxi was here to take us to the airport. We had to wait for like 15 mins to find that luggage.
The hotel is at a decent price point for an over the water bungalow. Even my island tour guide commented that I made a good compromise. I booked one over the water bungalow and one room that was next to the beach. The one next to the beach, unfortunately, has tons of mosquitoes. So my suggestion is to book one that is over the water. We saw dolphins swimming in the ocean just by going outside the room, it was great. They provide kayaks and snorkeling gear for free. This hotel is 5 mins away from "town", there is a bank, restaurants and some shops there and a super market, so very convenient. However, they all closed early on 12/24 and not opened on 12/25. The pool was nice as well. I would stay here again if I come to Moorea again. The front desk young lady was super nice. She was kind of the only one smiling all the time. The other staff (her manager) at the front desk does not seem to be smiling at all.

AustraliaThe price for Manea spa is considerably more expensive compared to other massage services in the area so decided not to use it. The New Years Eve compulsory dinner was overpriced - we were seated in the Miti Bar restaurant with limited view of the show. The buffet queue was long and the night felt a bit rushed. There wasn’t enough time to go for a second plate. The DJ idea missed the mark and most people returned to their rooms.
Beautiful setting and location. Staff all very friendly - showed us around on arrival and took us to our room. Peaceful and relaxing environment. Great pool and free use of kayaks and snorkelling equipment.

United StatesAt check-in no warm towel/complementary drink was provided. The tour was lame, didn't do it properly. Room fridge did not really cool. Water bottle is not provided daily. Expensive. Gym is so small, no weights, two treadmills, two elliptical machines, two stationary bicycles, and one row machine. You need to ask for a key to use it.
Staff is mostly nice, some were snobbish. The room was very clean and comfortable. Toiletries are free and plentiful. Pool is super warm and you can enjoy the many amazing views from it. You can see fish from the decks, there is a lot of fish around, beautiful location and gorgeous views. Snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding can be done for free. Not crowded ever. Some coffee/cream is provided daily. Kettle and fridge are available in each room. AC works great. There is a tiny gym. Anthony and Baptiste were very helpful. Supermarket where you can find anything you need nearby, 3-minute walk, accept CC. Plenty of activities you can book ($) at the hotel. Two restaurants next to the hotel where you can try their local food, accept CC. Locals are extremely nice and always want to help you.

NetherlandsWe had an overwater bungalow built on coral reefs, facing the ocean. It was magic. The pool area and the hotel facilities were also great. Breakfast was superb. We also enjoyed the Tahitian evening with the buffet dinner. Great choices of tasty food and excellent show. We spent some very happy days here.

PolandBreakfast choices could be improved- 1 day 20min after breakfast was open there was no cheese or any cold cuts. For this hotel standard breakfast was very very basic. Personel at bars and restaurants could be quicker and nicer- we had impression most of the people that work there don’t care
Specious rooms, great water villa (we upgraded for 2nights), nice personel at front desk and lady concierge (helped us to book boat trips and taxis and gave lot of information about the island). Great location close to everything ( good resturants nearby and shops). We could see dolphins, sharks and turtles from our water villa. Free kayaks rental was nice. Housekeeping was also helpful. Beautiful garden

New ZealandRestaurant a little pricey. Breakfast buffet very expensive. More specials on family room rates would be welcomed- we were 3 adults who all required a seperate bed & a family room was the only option suitable. We would have stayed a few extra nights if a deal option had been available.

United StatesThey welcomed us with a big smile. We were there at 12 noon and they cleaned the room so fast so they can accommodate us for early check-in. It was hot and we have 2 babies so we really appreciated it. The property is close to manui grill and maitai restaurant which are both popular for dining and for a good price. I liked it that it’s closed to everything, downtown and breakfast spots and even grocery store if you need something. We stayed at premium water bungalows and they gave us tahitian pearl as a gift and a botte of champagne with macarons! We loved it! Staffs were really nice, clean rooms (they even called us to what time we wanted our room to be cleaned.) The bungalow has a small glass bottom so you can see the fishes at night. My daughter loves it! We ate at tiki bar for happy hour and it was really good. We tried the mahanai restaurant too from my birthday dinner and food was great!

GuernseySome of the ladies working in the restaurant/bar are not very friendly at all which is a massive shame. We also had a dead cockroach appear in our bathroom one day which we asked reception if someone could remove - it was surprising it took them over 24hrs to do this. Lastly, make sure you steer clear of breakfast!! Don't pay for breakfast at the hotel - just go to cafes down the road. The "American" breakfast is extremely overpriced, and the continental breakfast had birds walking all over it and pecking at all the bread/cakes/pastries. Staff didn't seem bothered about shooing them away. Nothing is covered at all so the fruit all had loads of flies on it, and the birds have free reign of the breaded items!
Reception staff are great and very friendly. Room was lovely, and facilities are good. The Polynesian night (Saturday) was also excellent! Comfy bed, great shower, excellent size room.

AustraliaNothing comes to mind.
We had a private villa with a mini plunge pool, and a seperate over the water bungalow with lagoon view for our family members. Both rooms were excellent - very comfortable with various amenities, and the staff were highly helpful and considerate. We loved our stage and would highly recommend to anyone going. Will definitely be back.
