Only thing is that the private room has no AC, only a fan which can be a bit noisy if you have a light sleep, not the case for me. Everything else, nothing to complain.

Upgraded from shared dorm to private room with bathroom for free as the dorms were overbooked. Nice beautiful private beach in front of the hostel.

Toilet and shower from the dorm should be cleaned every day, but it wasn't, so that was the only less positive aspect of my stay.

Staff super friendly, good location, comfortable bed and clean, the beach is just in front and beautiful. They also have all the meals available in their restaurant or many other food options by walk. I loved it and I do recommend it :)

The signal of the wifi doesnt reach our room. The signal is also not great in our room but when we go out in the reception or in the beach area, it works fine.

I love that its location is near to most tourist spots in Siquijor. Another commendable is their staff!! Very accommodating and nice. They respond to all our needs in an instant. Super sulit since they have private access to the beach.They also have spacious parking space and spacious room. Big advantage also is that they have their own restau so we do not really have to go out most of the time.

The WiFi connection is terrible, and you don't get a bloody mobile coverage inside your room. Please note that the WiFi is not connected inside your room and your mobile would be useless as it does t have a mobile coverage.

It didn’t feel clean at all. The rooms are so dark and the hotel felt really isolated. The fan is useless it was so hot in the room we could barely sleep. There were marks on the bed sheets and the bathroom smelt so bad.

It was an excellent stay.

It is right next to the beach, and they also have restaurant. if you want to eat out, there are plenty of restaurants in the area. I actually just walk going to the center of San Juan like almost a kilometer of leisure walking. The price is good for a budget traveler like me.

Had a great stay at Tori's Backpacker's Paradise. We definitely enjoyed our relaxing stay at our cottage right in front of the beach. The owner was also very prompt with answering all our queries and all the staff were very helpful. Will definitely recommend Tori's to our friends who plan to visit Siquijor in the future.

The facilities are the number one cons here. The shower is leaking so is the faucet in the lavatory. The drainage is a little bit clogged. The toilet is quite smelly. No complimentary soap, coffee and water. They just provide you with a water heater and mugs. You have to look for your own water container and ask for a refill in the reception. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 guests and that's also for the entire 4-day stay. The faucet produces a weird sound at times. The room and the surroundings aren't even cleaned thoroughly. There also dark areas in the resort. Especially the one near the beach. The parking area is not well lit and needs tidying up. The road going out of the resort is too inclined making it challenging for 4-wheeled vehicles to pass through.

The room is big and spacious. It can accommodate a maximum of 6. The sea is a very very good view from the cottage. Some staff are friendly and nice.

The stuff was very not nice , the food in the place was not good , the room was with ants , there is no hot water in the shower, the location is horrible, in the middle of nowhere, there is no restaurant or bars nearby

We had a safety issue with someone who was staying in our room. The man in question was acting very strange, as if he had taken a heavy illegal substance. he was going through our belongings and had no respect for our privacy. He was also acting very odd, spaced out and scary. We raised our concerns to the girl behind the bar and she dismissed us and didn’t want to do anything about our issue. we’re two young girls travelling; we’re happy staying in dorms but not when our safety and privacy are at risk. we asked to change rooms/ him to be moved and we were met with an irritated shrug. they eventually moved us into another room which they wanted us to pay extra for. we felt undermined and overlooked. we swiftly moved hostels, to a place down the road with nicer food, lovely staff and a safer atmosphere.

It's not very social, unfortunately. But in my experience and based on friends I've met, this is quite common for Siquijor. If you're craving that instead, Fable seems to be the place to stay.

The room was HUGE and so comfortable! I had a great stay here. The food is incredible as well and very fairly priced, as was the entire stay. The hostel is surrounded by nature and by the beach. I recommend staying here!

Wifi doesn't reach the room - but who needs wifi when you have an ocean view :)

We were lucky to get a room with a beautiful sea view! Convenient bar and restaurant on site and rented a scooter from them. Lovely loungers and hammocks to relax in by the beach.
