“Having breakfast at a shared table is nice. Leo was able to do my laundry almost for free in the end, which was really sweet. Wifi worked well enough for me to take a few meetings and it was quiet during the day that I was able to do it in the common area.”

  • Hotel Puelche Review Score: 9

“Beautiful room with comfortable beds and Lake view. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, and for other meals the restaurant was very good. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is not in the centre but is in a nice location about 10/15 minute walk away.”

  • Hotel Tirol Review Score: 8

“Very good location within easy walking distance of centre. The room was nice with a good view of the Lake. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower and big towels. It was nice and quiet and the breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly.”

  • Patagonia Jazz Hostel Review Score: 8

“Awesome room, it was really clean and so were the bathrooms. The lady (who we thought was the owner) was fantastic, she was very into it helping everyone with anything. Cleaned the kitchen and made fresh bread every day! Unfortunately the other staff were not so invested. They seemed to use the hostel as a private hangout and weren’t easy to approach. We often felt like we were interrupting their conversations. They also didn’t tell us any activities etc we could get involved in.”

  • “Close to the city center (8 min on foot). Confortable beds, clean bathrooms. What really stands out are the common rooms, kitchens and cozy atmosphere. Coffee and tea are available all day. Totally recommended.”

  • Hotel Boutique Casa Werner Review Score: 10

“Great example of the old houses here by the lake, very clean and comfortable and nice shared living space to relax in. The bed and bathroom were clean and large. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing, fresh eggs jams and products - we loved the cake! The town is a good base for exploring the lake but if you want more shops and restaurants the next town would have more to offer but you can drive there easily. All the staff were friendly and shared great tips.”

  • Patagonia Sin Fronteras Review Score: 9

“Beautiful peaceful place in the woods. Very friendly and helpful owners. Nice to be able to cook a simple meal instead of eating out every night.”

  • Alaska Patagonia Hostel Review Score: 10

“Very cosy atmosphere, staff is extremely attentive and helpful.”

  • INDÓMITO HOSTEL Review Score: 3

“I didn't have a great stay here. I booked the private room for 4 nights, and received a message just before arrival that there had been a mistake and the room was only available for the first night, and for the rest of the stay there was only the dormitory available. As I was travelling and short notice I didn't have time to find anywhere new. When I arrived, the volunteer on reception said she was not expecting me. I would have stayed for the 4 nights but I didn't find the hostel particularly welcoming or friendly... I was the only non argentinian person staying and it was difficult to integrate and it felt a little cliquey amongst the guests and volunteers (I speak Spanish but will all native speakers it is a challenge). Its also located quite far out of town, so I moved to a different hostel in Bariloche which was completely different - a mix of argentinian and international guests and all very friendly and welcoming (Penthouse1004). Overall Indomito is not a bad place but just bear in mind the language barrier if you don't speak Spanish, the location if you want to be in town, and no guarantee you'll get the room you booked...”
