  • Guesthouse Review Score: 9

“We found the primary attraction of this small guest house, the stylishly converted front half of a large garage, to be its location on an historic residential street quite close to the Central West End. The quiet area (with free street parking) is very convenient --even walking distance--to shops and restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as within easy driving range of Washington University. (It could be handy for parents visiting Wash U students or even prospective students themselves who'd prefer an affordable place with a kitchen to a hotel room). The bed was comfortable and, as noted, it was very quiet, so we really relaxed and slept well. Host Anthony (himself the architect of the guesthouse and the really striking contemporary house it sits behind) was available and readily responsive to a couple of requests we had.”

“Room was quiet comfortable wifi was strong and reliable. Breakfast included hot (eggs, sausage) bread/pastries, ( bagels, Danish, croissants,...) beverages (coffee, tea, juice) and best of all FRESH Fruit. Rooms were named after authors. Mine was Mary Shelly, with a framed description in the room. Appreciated the bookmark with "Frankenstein" printed on it”
