“The room was spotless when we arrived. We were a bit surprised of lack of lift in the hotel but that actually proved to be beneficial for my mum, who counts her steps daily. The room has no AC but the cool Scottish weather during the night plus the fan available in the room were all enough for us to have good night’s sleep. Just be mindful that the the extractor fan in the bathroom will take some time to turn itself off after you’ve turned the lights off. It will stay on for approx 5-8 mins. The reception staff on 7-9 April were all lovely and very pleasant, easy to deal with. Bed mattress is firm enough, and pillows are fantastic. There are enough power sockets in the room. But you may have to put the kettle on the table if you want to make some tea or coffee. Biscuits, tea, coffee with milk and are available in the room. I’m not sure if the water from the tap is drinkable. You may want to request from the reception or just bring your own.
No need to bring toiletries, except your tooth brush, toothpaste and other personal items. There are hansoap, shower gel, conditioner and shampoo available in the bathroom. Water pressure is also good considering we stayed at the 4th floor.
Buffet breakfast is quite limited to what I can call as English breakfast. There are a selection of cold cuts, cheddar, some pastries and bread. They have a coffee machine in the middle of the restaurant where you can make your own.
KM Hotel is close enough to the high street but far enough so you can have some privacy, away from the noise of the streets.”
“This place is incredible! I don't usually stay in country clubs but I was treating myself and it wasn't too badly priced.
The only negative was the restaurant, printer had given up on them, and I just didn't feel there was a lot of urgency from team to communicate with guests or rectify the situation. I don't blame the team I was dealing with (despite being maybe quite a dependent team), my heart went out to the chefs, I just didn't feel there was anyone with a plan to keep the team on track.
Rooms are gorgeous! Needed dusted (makes me think my room hadn't been used for a week or so) but glorious and well equipped! BEST NIGHT SLEEP EVER!
The highlight of the stay and an amazing asset to the hotel is the reception team! Stayed in a few places now and this reception team is stellar. Professional, well informed but each made an effort with every guest ! (heard one of them speaking French with a guest because they heard them speaking to their family so proceeded in French instead of English!) I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Just set such an amazing start to the experience!
Special shoutout to I THINK Kieran and Amy (sorry if I forgot the names) these 2 I had most dealings with and was maybe just the best customer service I've ever had! Didn't even need much during my stay but they just cared and made such an effort!

“I asked for more pillows and didn't get them. The room wasn't cleaned in four days and only one towel each for 4 days . We were evacuated after 4 hours of fire alarm going of and on from about 2 o'clock and evacuated at 5 o'clock in the morning . The next night an ambulance had to be called after a fight took place . I would not go back there . And there was no compensation for all of it .”
