    “Beautiful little town, wunderful view. The appartement could use some extra furniture, for comfort and the shower could be improved a lot. With that said the place itself definately worth a visit.”

    “Villa Irena is excellent accommodation in the medieval hilltop town of Vipavski Kriz. The recently renovated traditional home in the heart of the village was spacious, well equipped, meticulously clean with a very comfortable bed. The owner, Irena, is to be congratulated as she is a superb host. She not only cares about her guests & the quality of their stay but also provides information on a variety of activities and attractions in the Vipava Valley. The breakfast Irena provides at an additional cost is delicious and plentiful. We didn't need lunch! We highly recommend staying at Villa Irena!!”

    “The property was very spacious. It has balcony with a beautiful view which gives additional bonus to the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor and is located in a rural area so you don’t have to worry about any loud noises from traffic. We were visiting in September when the temperature variated between 18-24 degrees but in the apartment the temperature was just right - not too cold and not too hot. The owners of the property were a pleasant couple - very nice and welcoming. Owners speak Slovenian, Italian and know few words in English as well. But using some simple English and gestures there was no problem communicating. They always made sure to check in on our day and if anything was ok. And as a bonus - when we were leaving they gave us some home grown persimmons. We really enjoyed our stay in these apartments 😊”
