Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had to fix the pool table.. our room was cold.. there was black hair everywhere... nobody cleans up the shower.. I spent 1 hr cleaning it for me and my wife to use

I had to extend my stay several times and each time I was charged a cleaning fee. If, I'm correct that fee is mostly to clean my room after I leave. I haven't left and I also changed my own sheets. Is it possible to get refunded some of those charges?

Everything, the place was disgusting smelly dirty why do they allow people to rent places like that , there should be a standard set for how places should be rented then they charge a fee for cleaning , where was the cleaning done in that place. I could not spend a night in that place I called the number for some kind of assistance I sent a message and no one even responded.

I didn't like anything at all about it and everything could have been better especially the representation of the property
This facility was grossly misrepresented, beyond grossly. It was a dilapidated pit of a boarding house. I have already reported it to the BBB and I am actually talking with a small claims attorney because of the fact that this house was so misrepresented I want a full refund.

The property sits on the edge of a community college parking lot and was hard to find. Upon opening the front door, we were met with a foul odor. The odor was not as strong upstairs in our room, but we had to leave the windows open all night with the AC unit running. Our room had two TV tray tables for nightstands with cheap, plastic lamps. Most of the light switches didn't control anything. The entire property is run down and poorly maintained. The shared bathroom was so gross that neither of us felt like we could shower in it. In short, there was nothing "charming" about it.

I traveled from overseas and upon arrival at this place, I was met with the smell of strong weed , which I was forced to tolerate since it was late when I arrived. The bed was not clean , like someone had satin the bed. It was horrible and I became sick from the smell and had to be treated at a hospital. I had to leave the following day and checked into a decent place although I told someone in email about what was taking place. I paid for three nights but I stayed a half of night. Not even a trash can to the room. Someone messaged me to accused me of lying and since has not even asked about my prognosis. The bill for my treatment and for the extra two nights that I didn’t stay and the fee for the two night which I paid for somewhere else, will be forwarded to an attorney!!
What breakfast?? 😂 I think you perhaps have the wrong place in mind!! As long as I live I will never forget the horrible experience and that place.

Cold nights - no heat and no extra blankets - had to use towels to cover my cold body. One bathroom with broken glass shower door and a wet towel outside of it for 4 separate renters. Desk with no chair.

Amenities, the bathroom with shower was locked when I badly need it. The owner/property manager does not respond in a reasonable time. Aside from a bed in a room, the place is desolate, run down and need some good overhaul.
I chose it for the location.
