Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt was pretty $$ for what it was ($700+) and not as fancy as I’d expect for that $.
Close to Chinatown, Mulberry and right by Manhattan bridge it’s an easy spot for Uber pick up. Room was comfy and quiet. Hotel bar was nice and had good bar food. Staff throughout was super nice and very helpful. Relatively quiet because it fronts/opens up to the bridge.

United Statescustomer service was perfect, everyone was very friendly and helpful. the room was beyond our expectations, we paid some extra bucks for a city-view room and it was worth it. the room was also very spacious and clean, the bed sheets smelled so nice. location was also 100/10, it is close to all the good eats in Chinatown. we also really like the common space on the 2nd floor (very quiet, clean, and spacious) where they have a water station (cold and hot water) and a microwave, we sometimes get Chinese takeout and warm it up in the microwave, and they serve free coffee and tea every day there too(but I forgot the time). would stay here again when we visit New York next time. highly recommend!!

United StatesThat I could not stay and enjoy the views and longer!
The front desk staff were very welcoming, the room I was kindly upgraded to (thank you!) was absolutely gorgeous and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is really cool as you're close to all of the good new restaurants and bars, walking distance to SoHo and have Chinatown and Little Italy at your doorstep. The rooftop bar was lovely and the staff were great, even late at night. I felt that the staff had been well trained to pay attention to the right details. For example, there was not a coffee maker or tea kettle in my room, so I asked for a hot water kettle. They brought it up immediately, alongside a lovely array of organic green teas. The full hotel experience is always a sum of smaller moments.

United StatesThis place is exceptional value for your money, with views from your room and the rooftop that that are truly stunning. I was surprised the rooftop wasn't crowded. The room was quiet and large with a very comfortable bed. Walls could use a little clean or painting but the floor-to-ceiling windows make up for that small flaw. The location is very convenient to access the subway or walk within lower Manhattan. They don't offer room service but they have a dedicated lobby area for delivery orders and the staff are so helpful. The staff's kindness and attention might be what sets this place apart. They pay attention to their guests and go above and beyond at every opportunity. I've already been back for another stay.

United StatesLocation excellent - very convenient to all the places we like to go to in Chinatown and SoHo. 2 Double bed room was spacious for NYC, great for our family of 2 adults + 2 teens. Staff was very friendly and let us know about a complimentary walking tour of Chinatown (which unfortunately didn't fit our schedule). Also enjoyed the common gathering area on the 2d floor.

United StatesThe hotel should consider making "grab 'n go" items available on the second floor, and should expand its coffee service offerings and availability.
The rooms were well-sized, especially given the NYC market. Check-in and check-out was easy. The meal options were limited, but the hotel has cleverly utilized its old restaurant space on 2 to give groups a place to dine using delivery services. The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise. And the location is extremely convenient to Chinatown, Little Italy and to the nearby courthouses.

United StatesWe have stayed here several times, and I had mentioned that we would be celebrating my husband's birthday during this stay. The staff really stepped up (and beyond)! Not only was there a bottle of prosecco waiting for us but they'd upgraded us to a spectacular suite with exceptional city views. Mahical! Every staff member was friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to James, the manager who really made our stay one to remember.

Great staff and very easy comfortable stay. Enjoyed having a small mini fridge and coffee/tea in the morning. We were able to have our breakfast at hotel and then hit the city. Close walk to two subway lines.

United StatesThe prepaid breakfast left much to be desired, and the ordering process was somewhat unclear as it wasn't directly provided by the hotel and the whole thing just felt like an after thought. In hindsight, I regret opting for the breakfast package, despite its affordability. It seems you truly get what you pay for in this case.
The hotel room was spotless, with the staff providing exceptional friendliness and accommodation; the modern feel of the room and bathroom, along with the rainwater shower head, added to the overall comfort.
